Update. I have challenged their refusal to give me the points then gone onto the mailagent app to check something else and noticed the points have been added today despite their refusal. 

So either they’ve credited me the points within 30 seconds of my second challenge, or they’ve added them anyway even though they said they weren’t going to.

I think they are in a bit of a state of chaos - they credited me twice for the last UA survey (I cashed in quick before they could change their mind).  I'm still waiting to go live after a rest period that ended two months ago - I've told them I'm on holiday for two weeks from the 1st June so they'll probably wait until then and then start sending stuff while sending stuff while I'm away!

I’m still waiting to go back on the live panel after my rest period finished in December! Any one else out there been waiting that long? I know a lot of you reported getting back on the panel quite quickly after the end of your rest period.

I got my email mid January saying my rest period had finished, so not as long as you but I’m still waiting to get back on the live panel.

Sorry, but I think I win !!  I haven't even started yet...  Been waiting for my first live panel since the end of Kantar.

Yes, have been doing the UA and CD surveys. Am 1/2 way to collecting my 2nd voucher.
They did email me a few months ago to say my "6 months rest  period" was nearly over, but their records appear to be as useless as the rest of the system.  Am tempted to wait a little longer before poking the bear, so I can get on the survey over Christmas and get the Christmas stamps (as I used to with Kantar) !

Yes, exactly my thoughts! I’m quite busy in May/June with other commitments & holidays. So I’ll drop them a ticket in July if still not back on the live panel. Hopefully 🤞 be on the survey over Xmas.

Do you always have to log the posting details for outgoing mail while stood at the postbox, or could you jot down the exact time/postbox number etc. and submit the details when you get home?

I know the former is preferred, but say, for example, I accidentally left my phone at home?

I've done mine from home a few times. The box I use is not the nearest to me but comes up in the list.

I do mine from home as I am leaving, probably a time difference of 3 minutes and always before the expected collection time,

Kantar were insistent that details were entered at the postbox. They claimed they needed to have a certain percentage of postings completed this way. Some people without smartphones left the survey because of this requirement. Spectos seem very casual about this.

Can you input the details manually, or do you need to be near enough to locate the position of the postbox on your phone?

For example, could I post at a box outside my workplace and enter the details when I got home, 4 miles away?

I doubt it unless you are in the same postcode area.

CDM points added today on the day I finished data entry. Let’s see what will happen with the UA when it finishes.

I habitually do - but that's because I work from home and the box is 40 paces away so I nip out and post then log it when I get back so I'm in wi-fi range and the box is still the nearest.  Occasionally, if I'm heading out I will do it as lesleyb describes - log it in the hallway and post 1 minute later.  I guess if it was more often than not being logged significantly later, they might eventually notice and email you about it.
