  • On the live panel in the last few weeks I have received two test items at different times and fill in all the details but when it comes to the postage type and I go to scan a message appears stamp not  valid or bar code. 

    I then select from the drop down list at the bottom something like "other reason" and complete a small report what has happened.  Has anyone else experienced this type of thing. It only happens when a stamp has been put on the item. 
    I have had this happen to me again but notice only happens if the expected postage type is not on the item.  Perhaps it is some kind of test to see how the panelist processes the item.  
    I had this happen for the first time today!

    I received a letter with a 1st class stamp on it. Logged all the details as normal and when it came to postage type, the dropdown had a list of postage prices. As we have been told to do in the past, I selected the "other reason" option and put in the comments that it was a 1st class stamp (I can see the letter was from a business so it was obviously meant to be mailmarked or franked). As mentioned above, there is an option to scan a QR code at this stage (next to the postage type dropdown box there is a tiny grey button with a QR symbol). I tried it out on the barcoded stamp which was on the envelope and also received the error message about it not being valid. I guess the QR scan is trying to get some information from a mailmark (which in our case is not there as it was a stamp) and I suppose it would be useful in the event the cost of the postage was misprinted and if the associated price could then be pulled from the QR codes that are on those mailmarks. However, it doesn't seem to be a requirement to take a scan and I just carried on to submit the report as normal.

    This new button looks to have been added during the recent update to the form to log receipt of items - I don't know about everyone else but one of the things I suggested when they were collecting feedback was to have less of the "yes", "confirm" buttons after each and every single question but now there seems to be even more than ever (couldn't we just confirm a summary at the end?).
  • Had the 'you're being rested' email this morning. Rather annoying as I'm 780 points away from my next voucher and even though I'm doing the Unaddressed survey I won't get to 2500 before I'm rested.

    They say they are preparing my leaving stamps which will be '12 x 1st Class stamps, 4 x 1st Class Large Letter stamps and your Presentation Pack. This will be your final set of stamps until you rejoin us in the future.' which I should receive in the next two weeks.

    You’ll probably still be sending and receiving things for up to the next 4 weeks so with the unaddressed mail survey, you might still get there.

    I’ve had the email saying my rest period has come to an end and then an email to say I’ve been automatically assigned to an available place. Then another email to say I’ve been automatically assigned a place. But still nothing showing in the app.

  • I've just received two emails - one saying my rest period is about to start (it started last summer) and another one saying I am going back on the active list. Hopefully the second one is right!
