Thank you for your post. Your experience has confirmed what I thought regarding people thinking that they must be fake. If they thought that with yours, they would have definitely thought that with mine because I would have advertised them for half the face value 😂XDA said:
I tried selling mine on Facebook Marketplace but I had people commenting that they must be fake/counterfeit because I was selling them slightly cheaper than the RRP price.Gail333 said:
Thank you for this! I will have a look! I had no idea that there was somewhere online that buys stamps. I had considered Facebook marketplace but then it occurred to me that I would have to give an explanation to a potential buyer why I have so many as I would not want them to think that they were either fake or stolen as no "normal" person would have so many stamps but then I would be revealing my identity so I dismissed that idea.NBLondon said:
I got rid of my excess Large 1st by selling them to this dealer: https://www.philatelink.co.uk/buying--stamps-prices-4-w.asp (scroll down halfway to see the price list) Better than just leaving them in a drawer if you will never use them.Gail333 said:The stamps though, I don't have a clue what to do with them as I never need to send letters or parcels and I have a ridiculous amount now 🤣🤣
I removed them after that because I obviously couldn’t go into the specific's as to why I’ve got so many stamps to sell at a cheap price.

I don’t have a receipt for them and I can’t disclose the real reason why I have so many stamps that I’m prepared to sell at a cheap price!“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”1 -
Just finished a cycle of UA, logged the last items on Sunday night. This morning, the app won't load giving me error 502; anybody else having problems?I need to think of something new here...0

Size of batch might be significant. I would sell 1 or 2 booklets at a time starting at 99p, using another booklet as postage. Nobody queried. If you sell 20 booklets at a time then people might wonder - unless it's obvious from your selling history that you're a collector/dealer.XDA said:No problem! It does look suspicious when stamps are being sold at a cheap price and how do I prove they’re genuine?

Yes, good advice. When I’m selling on eBay, usually sell 4 booklets at a time & of course offer free postage!NBLondon said:
