Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

@XDA from personal experience of project implementations, just because it runs in X place Y way, doesn't mean that the new implementation will be seamless. There's a whole lot of behind the scenes stuff to do, and even if the project implementation team know what needs to happen, they still have new staff and new (the the UK) IT Development. I'm sure it will all sort itself out by the time our next panel phase comes round.

I am surprised I haven't had my rest period notice yet - I've been doing this since November last year, and I live in a city so panellists should not be a problem.  Doesn't bother me either way, I go past a postbox with late collection, and a post office, every weekday so its not a great hassle for me.

I get that but why are the same basic mistakes happening month after month? A quick process change would easily fix it.

I wouldn’t expect it to be seamless - That’s why they started back in September and it ran parallel with Kantar until April while they tested everything.

I’m not so sure it’s all completely ran from within the UK. I suspect quite a lot of the backend is ran from Germany.

And me as well.  I emailed back pointing out that I had 3 bundles left for June (though one isn't actually here yet)  and 2 for July - so should I expect the July ones to disappear?

I thought about remanding them about the Presentation Pack but as it is explicitly mentioned in the video - I'll wait to the end of the month.

I've been on the panel since October so I was due a break and I don't think I'm going to run out of books....  They say a minimum of 6 months break and then invited back when there is a space which suggests I won't be back live until 2024 - so I'll miss the Christmas bonus

Anyone know the difference? I prob should've noticed in the past 6mths.

I was assuming they just reached C9999 and carried on.  My July ones are D.

I have just received the rest period email too. I think it is disgusting that we can't cash in however many points we have at the start of the rest period though, if it is less than their arbitrary minimum.  I have only managed to get enough points for one £25 voucher previously and I currently have about 1500 points. I don't see why they should get to keep my £15 for six months or longer? Also I was hoping to uninstall the app when my "rest period" started, but I still have stuff to send in 8 days' time and I get the idea from watching the video that they are going to use the app to send me the "invite" to restart in the future?

@NBLondon Another example of the poor communication we have come to expect from Spectos. You have been terminated immediately but we expect you to serve a couple of weeks notice. Maybe the bundles you have yet to receive will disappear from the schedule.
Don't assume anything about when you will be back though. I'm guessing less than 6 months.

I think that will come in a letter like when you started. It will have a printed iCode that you scan in the app.
There was a mention of giving points to charity. This might have been for less than £25 worth or maybe they will cancel them if you leave. I think we need the option to cash in lesser amounts.

Also received the letter. Annoyed that I have 1500 points, plus I should have 2 lots of 300 that haven’t been given for addresssed and unaddressed.

I had an invite to start today as well. Been checking the app all day and still nothing has appeared for me.

I had the same but it has just appeared. However last time this happened I never got to take part in it as it never showed up.

Still hasn’t appeared.

Oh well, I can’t be bothered chasing up Spectos about it as it’ll be take 3 weeks to get any sort of response.

I just checked again this morning and it is now working. I have places where I can now enter yesterday's and today's volumes.
