Private Parking charge challenge
Comments

I am at the end of my tether, I was issued a ticket by UKPC for parking out of bay . I appealed on the grounds of mitigating circumstances as I am disabled and needed to use the toilet urgently. I couldn’t park within the bay as the next car was out of bay.
My appeal was rejected, despite information regarding my medical condition and medication I was on. I then went to POPLA, who agreed with my appeal and asked UKPC to consider accepting my appeal. They refused and didn’t even bother to take any into consideration. Instead they said that the lines and signs were clearly marked. No mention of my grounds for appeal. They also stated that POPLA had agreed with them. That was a complete lie. All efforts to contact UKPC have failed. Debt collectors are chasing me. I have told them that I they are strangers to the debt and have no power to enforce it. The debt collectors are GCTT they responded with a notice of transfer to solicitors.
any advice would be appreciated.
