Hello xx
I used a brave and called at Mr L on my way home from work. My freezer is now nearly full.
I always find the first time anywhere new incredibly anxiety causing. But I'll be going again now I'm broken the barrier.

Spoon deficit again and I have done nothing all day.
I have done dinner in and pack ups, dealt with parents evening and given online counselling to DD2 who has self diagnosed a varicose vein in her foot.. finding her a walk in centre the other side of the country is fun.. or rather technically another country (she is in Wales).. Getting a distressed Pixie into class.
We did come home from school with 3 boxes of cereal and 30 tins of beans though.. cornflakes and beans anyone?

My favourite uncle is in hospital woth pneumonia and what sounds like congestive heart failure but they can't treat anything due to the sky high blood pressure. His wife is hysterical. She has a brain injury due to her own severe pneumonia few years ago and induced coma so cannot cope with anything.
School rang re Squeak but I was in the meeting with a teacher so couldn't really talk.. she hasn't been in trouble but has struggled all day.

I've decluttered dinner and a toffee eclair. I love those things.

Hello all.
Absent due to not even getting the dailies done. Jazee, if you are only getting the essentials done, you are way in front of me. And I have been known to have a fairly low standard of what I consider absolute essentials.
Today I have fared a little better, but not really, considering that I had nearly the whole day. Bathrooms have been cleaned in anticipation of weekend guests. They cancelled this evening as they have both come down with covid. Hasty amendments done to the milk and the Mr M deliveries, restaurant table cancelled. Hair chopped. Dinner cooked, but nothing used out of the fridge or freezer, so hardly to plan. The problem was that there wasn’t a plan. Bedding changed, washed, dried outside, and I have just made myself do HHI, rather than slumping. I much prefer slumping. I am a Slumper.
Pigpen, you and Pixie are welcome to any spare spoons that I have lying around x
Well done, Round, that was a brave well used x
Off to get my PJs on, maybe sort some washing for tomorrow on my way.10 -
Spoons to those who need them. Similar here, cobid jab was Saturday and today I have sneezes and a runny nose. I did half the basics, and deep cleaned my tumble dryer. Hopefully tomorrow will come with more energyMarried 40y.o. mum of an autistic 11y.o. Carer/SAHM.

I am with Squeak - I have struggled with today too. I have a bit of a problem at work that I have sort of prodded and poked at until it has become a huge nasty angry thing stopping me from sleeping and ready to pounce just when I think I have got my head around it. Tried to talk to my line manager about it today and she was dismissive which didnt help. I have a meeting on Monday where this problem could be a big issue, or it might fizzle away. I wish I wasnt such a worrier.
Yoga first thing then a full day at the paid stuff. Clean washing put away, bedding changed, another load put in to hang out tomorrow. Kitchen is tidy. Feet up now.10 -
Spoons, sticks and hugs to those struggling. Ionafan don't do too much!
Not an enormous amount of actual flying today, although I did hoover throughout the downstairs at the weekend.
- gym swim
- Covid jab
- bought gf bread from C00p as it was on a voucher and is next to the pharmacy where I had my jab
- lovely afternoon at NT Anglesey Abbey admiring autumn tree colours
- printed off student paperwork that uni have finally got round to booking, for next week and November.
- emailed private assessment's girl's mum confirming date
- went through half term hol list with Mr N of places we might visit, now organised with postcodes of each place, note nearest car park especially free ones, Mr T vouchers usable.
- chat with friend who has a spare ticket to see Roxy Music at the O2 on Friday; we've decided on trains/route/food (she has limited energy so we need to plan carefully to minimise walking). I haven't been to a live concert for ages!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -
Evening ladies
Popping in to say hi. Life has got even busier than normal - think mud, high winds, our first power cut of the autumn, a leaking chimney breast, various shocks on the electric fence, mice in the kitchen, a new young dog that needs housetraining, getting ready to actually sell at an auction mart next week…: you get the picture.
Flying just isn’t even a thing, other than picking up after said dog. Oh and our other dog seemingly can’t stand new dog so lots of barking arguments going on. And the little ****** has chewed through SO.MANY.THINGS.I’m here in spirit. But my body is freezing on this big hill we call home, in leaking wellies. Love to all xx10 -

Sounds amazing, asb! Good luck at the auction.
Pigpen, I hope that Pixie enjoyed WoW and went to bed a bit happier. At her age, life is very hard when you are separated from your best friend.
Narc0, I promise I am pacing myself and consequently I haven't achieved all that I had aspired to today - but I did make a big dent in the list. Another huge cane toad was dealt with - so to celebrate we went out for an unexpected coffee and cake at a local GC, where I managed to pick up some nice tulip and hyacinth bulbs for the patio pots, for a very fair price. That took about 2 hours out of my afternoon but was most enjoyable. I have pinned up the pyjamas, ready for trying on when i get ready for bed (very soon!). I crossed two things off my Toots list but thought of two more to add on...
Tomorrow morning my gardener is coming for a couple of hours, and then I have a horse piddle appointment in Millennium City, which will necessitate an early lunch and take up a good chunk of the afternoon. I doubt that I shall fly much - will probably just do the dailies and Rosie's walk. Oh, and I must write a Golden Wedding card and will have to deliver it by hand on Thursday, because of the postal strike.
My bed is calling. G'night all.7
