i did the same yesterday, came up with this: http://www.ukdata.com/company-credit-reports/DIRECT-SALES-EUROPE-LIMITED.html but other than that couldn't find anything about peoples experience with them other than the two or three ebay feedbacks.0 -
Having used a few of the 'cheaper' couriers in the past and seen some horror stories on here,I am surprised they can charge so cheap.
How much do they pay themselves?
Are they cheaper because some are not charging VAT and staying within the threshold limits?Of course a plus VAT sale could be better for some businesses using them.
Could explain why some don't continue.
Loving the single posters.Still haven't worked out if they are opposing companies just plugging their site.0 -
I use Parcel2go for UK mainland and PayPerParcel for Scottish Highlands. Both use DHL so picked up by the same driver.
Out of 19 parcels, only one was returned as the cleaner would not accept it at 8.30am. (not expecting it)
Warn customers when to expect delivery. Do not deliver if you have not confirmed address and taken a contact phone no. Ask if any problems with delivery. Put the onus on them if delivery fails.
2/4 day economy service is normally delivered next day! 2 days to Scotish Highlands. Why pay more. I give my customers online the option of a guaranteed next day delivery, only one taker.
Contact your customer. I send an email invoice when the goods have been collected saying when to expect delivery. It's good customer service. I frequently get a thank you note.

That's true. A number of resellers (especially on eBay) are dodgy. They buy services at single business rates (not as resellers) and give good service to start with. But when the delivery company realises that they have many collection points, and never the same one twice, they catch on that they are using the service as a reseller, and hit them with the reseller rates. They cannot then pay these. The problem is for the people who have goods in the system. They get impounded, since these goods "belong" to the reseller company (as they signed that they only ship their own company goods), so they courier is entitled to impound and then dispose of them to cover their costs.0 -

I have ordered courier service via ebay parcel-choice
They were supposed to provide a 24hour service.
I have waited 3 days for the courier to turn up. They have stopped replying to my emails. So it looks like a scam or very badly organised business.
I have to find another courier.
Looks like £6.99 flushed down the drain and 3 days stress and waiting.
Stay clear of them.
I took a chance and used parcel-choice after being badly let down on 4 collections by Couriers direct (who still haven't got back to me despite numerous e-mails and attempts to call them) i found them to be really helpful and pleasant - the guy even rang me at 9.30pm to clarify my order becasue i'd made a mistake on the quantity!
Hopefully this is just a minor blip, i thought i had finally found a more reliable service!2011 wins so far: Radio Deal package worth £600

I'll pipe up for Pharos - only used them once, but they have great international prices. I wanted a good price for a large, heavy package to Australia - and they were by far the best. Easy to deal with, good customer service and the package was there within 7-8 days if I remember correctly. Would definitely use again for international shipment. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also ...0

Ive also use Pharos in the past without problems, im going to use them again as i have a PC to send and i dont trust the Ebay resellers, works out at £14.50 with £250 insurance, not too shabby0
