Anyone else had an email from Barclays saying they haven't paid in their £800 to qualify for rewards when they have? Oct 3rd mine was paid in - first time since reactivating Blue Rewards for the RD svr.
    Is it per calendar month?

Yes, I got this email. I am new to Barclays and opened The Barclays Bank Account on 7 Oct with £1 and paid in my £800 on 10 Oct.

I wonder if the £800 needs to be paid in after registering for Blue Rewards?

    Not just me then!
I have an open Chat with them, awaiting a response.
But if everyone, or even just newly activated, got that email, seemingly in error, then they may be quite busy!

I paid money into the RD saver, via the current account, so was definitely after Blue Rewards was enabled

Me too despite have paid in over £800 in 3 separate occasions between the 10th and 13th October to fund my Rainy Day saver account.

I am battling with this email too. If I click on Your Reward Details as the email suggests my bank account is greyed out and can't be selected.
I have registered for Blue Rewards, successfully applied for the rainy day savings account and sent over £3000 to it via the current account. I can't get hold of anyone to sort it out , and registering for online banking is pretty much impossible.

Chat support suspect it is in error, but advised I contact the Blue Rewards team via telephone.

I don't have the will to do that just now! But will do if they cancel my Blue Rewards, or follow up again (unless it is the expected retraction/ apology)

I've received an email from Barclays today, as follows:

"You're currently a member of Barclays Blue Rewards, but you're earning less in monthly rewards than your £5 monthly membership fee.

We don't want you to keep paying for Barclays Blue Rewards if you're not benefitting.

    What happens next

If you're still earning less than the fee in monthly rewards in two months from the date of this email, we'll cancel your membership."

I pay in the appropriate amount each month, and I've a couple of DD mandates that pay out each month. Therefore I pay £5 a month account fee and I earn the £5 back in rewards.

Has anyone else received a similar message from Barclays?

Yes I've had the email today. I re-joined Blue Rewards on the 1st of October and subsequently paid in £5,000 to fund the Rainy Day Saver.

I'm not sure if it is an error or because they use different dates other than calendar month for working it out. I have paid in another £800 today to be sure.

I've just spoken to Barclays as I had another issue that needed resolving, he said it is an automated email and the system won't have caught up yet. He assured me the correct account is linked, and the pay in requirement is calendar monthly.
