Just popped on to say I'm here. Been a busy week so far. Today, so far, up at five thirty, breakfast, two pigs loaded and taken to the abattoir, got drenched in the rain! Back home, second breakfast, sorted out pig forms online, loaded DW, cleared kitchen side, phoned optician. Had a call from niece, mom-in-law passed away this morning. Not unexpected and 91, she was surrounded by family. Now need to transplant more seeds and organise tea, and more coffee.
Hope everyone is well, not read back yet, hugs, mumtoomany.xxxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.

Morning lovelies,
Huge admin task tackled yesterday so now feeling so much better. We are going out to lunch to celebrate as we also have errands to run next to one of our favourite eating places.
Have agreed to pay someone to paint a large part of the house and have now settled on a quote, just waiting to hear when he can fit us in.
WM is on
Cat tray done
Upstairs needs a hoover but OH might do that, there's a batch of washing to fold/iron and put away (ironing is pretty limited here all the time). I also have a suitcase of clothes I would like to unpack as it's getting a bit cool to still be in summer dresses or shorts. Might have to go and find box of shoes as only have sandals or trainers.
Have a good day everyone9 -

Slept like a log last night - woke at 5:30 for a 'comfort break' then again until 9:00 when my alarm woke me - I had set it because I was enrolled on a 45 minute training session starting at 9;30. Thank goodness for wfh.
Now 'in the office' and catching up with stuff but it won't be a long session here.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

DH is home, and Rosie greeted him with great delight. His chest is a lot better but his hip (or, rather, his walking with his new hip) is a lot worse after 10 days of sitting. I hope it's a very long time before we experience another week like the past one. I am sooooo tired.
This morning I stripped my bed as soon as I woke up and did WMx2. My friend K came to help me make up my bed with my winter duvet and then proceeded to clean through the whole house with me. We managed everything except window cleaning in under 2 hours and had time to drink coffee and eat freshly baked scones and chat
Now I must iron the pillowcases so that I can get to bed at a reasonable time!10 -
So glad he is home Iona and hope you both have better times ahead x

So glad DH is home Iona, it must be such a relief for you both now. Fingers crossed that was the last of the hospital visits 🤞
Errr flying wise I decluttered a sleep this afternoon, which I must've needed as I slept from 4pm through till 6.30pm when I got up to cook the tea 😃Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Good morning my lovelies, have been up and about since 6am. Ended up doing a bit of DIY which I wasn't planning on...lol. Put a new thermo valve on the radiator then had to wrestle with the other valve to turn it back on. After a few whacks finally got it turned on and working, so that's on frost setting so hopefully it'll come on very low and take the chill off in the mornings 😁
Am about to go and have my shower then declutter DH to hospital for his appt. All depending on how he is after his treatment we might go and have a light lunch somewhere. The good news is he's not reacting too badly, it probably helps he takes injections of his treatment weekly of this drug. So the IV version isn't getting to him like it would if he hadn't had any previously.
Have a few bits to do this afternoon to get the living room ready for the new furniture next week, so an afternoon of decluttering in increments of 15 mins I think 👍
Hugs and spoons to all xxxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

House opposite has gone back on market for sale, it seems the purchases felt the vendor was messing them around, all local folk, there so far have been 5 viewings, one of which was a 2nd viewing, OH wants to go and 'vet' the proposed purchasers to check they are suitable!!
