Bloods taken, she managed it 1st go this time, rather than the pin cushion last time!

WM x 1 done out on whirly, sun has just come out

2 cats being mad, chasing, under a rug, and generally being silly, the 3rd one is walking / balancing on a very thin fence, 7 foot up, why just why

Fire done

Bed stripped and remade

Chicken also out defrosting here as well for curry tonight.

Chopped some kindling.

Still need to sort out my little saw as chain keeps coming off, but that can wait for now.

That's me swished all clean and shiny. I took up the bits of washing that I'd draped on the radiators. And I've sploshed bleach down the loo.

Cereal and warm toast.  Asked if I have my brown inhaler…I don’t, wasn’t expecting to be admitted and forgot to ask Dd to bring it.
I also don’t hav3 a brush or comb.

I've also put away the pots that were LTD at some point. A bowl full of pots is now soaking. And I gave the sink a bit of a scrub while I was waiting for the hot water to come through.

My kitchen looks a tad better already.

Thanks for all good wishes for my DH.  He is a lot better and now at the stage of feeling fit enough to do anything - until he actually tries to do it!  Yesterday he was raring to go, but I was exceedingly tired, and that is not a good combination.  Thank goodness I've had a decent night's sleep, and hopefully he will have had a sensible conversation with the consultant doing this morning's ward round.  I suspect that he will be discharged within the next couple of days.

So far this morning I have
- got up and let Rosie out in the garden
- had a cuppa and read the news headlines
- started WMx1
- put my porridge to soak
- done a bit more work on another cane toad whilst in the telephone queue for the GP surgery to chase up a DVLA medical examination for DH
- moved my beautiful maroon orchid from the study where it's been hidden behind my chair to the bedroom c-o-d where it's visible every time I come upstairs 

Other things I'd like to achieve today:
- shower, dress, and eat some breakfast (yes, I know it's nearly mid-morning, but I am still quite full of  pizza, sausage rolls and cake from DGD1's birthday party yesterday!)
- check bank account for monthly payments
- finish the washing and TD
- water the houseplants (the amaryllis need re-potting, but that won't get done today)
- pack up a coming home bag of clothes for DH and put it in the car (to be left there until he needs it)
- visit DH
- do a bit more work on the cane toad and the tadpoles that have spawned from it
- Rosie's walk
- TV quiz night

~~ get better ~~ vibes for Valli. A bag prepped sounds like a good idea.

DD1's sort-of-FIL sent home with a back brace.. he is going to be insufferable. I do not envy anyone who lives there.

OH is being left to find school uniforms.. they are his job, I am off to bed! I've done packs ups.

I have been up since 7:22am.. that is earlier than my alarm goes off.

.... well I didn't post that last night like I intended.. told you I needed my nest

I’ve had my room cleaned.  I’ve also had a char with the maintenance lady who was checking up on hygiene.  Since I was able to say ‘you’ve missed a bit’ I will count that as flying, even if only supervisory.

I've also put away six cartons of milk and recycled the packaging, and another bowl full of pots is soaking.

I've binned a left hand rubber glove with a hole in it. And taken a new pair out of the drawer. The right hand glove, which is actually for the left hand, will be saved as back up for whichever new glove succumbs first. Waste not, want not. 😇

Quick update from me - have done all the above.   Now off to see DH
