But Octopus haven’t.Evojam said:Alot of folk in the same boat with Eon,little to no communication, current online quoted energy prices unaffordable, gleaning info from other posters it's clear they have'nt sorted themselves out yet and updated online pricing as Octopus have above so guess I along with many 1000's of other Eon customers worried about how to stay warm this winter best sit tight and wait for updates..
Which is interesting because they both use the same back end software I think.0 -
A very real issue for those on E7 versions of fixed tariffs who have no idea whether the day/night balance is to be maintained, or has it changed in such a way that some who are presently on the dual rate might be better off being charged at the single rate (or vice versa). I've sent them a message via Facebook this morning but I'd imagine I am well down the queue and might not hear back for several days. They must have known this would happen if they didn't get everything updated in time.1

Yes, bigger problem for E7 users, either thinking of fix to variable switch or E7 to single rate switch.spot1034 said:A very real issue for those on E7 versions of fixed tariffs who have no idea whether the day/night balance is to be maintained, or has it changed in such a way that some who are presently on the dual rate might be better off being charged at the single rate (or vice versa). They might have to agree to back date any tariff changes.0 -
E.ON certainly seem to be struggling to put through the changes despite having computerised systems. They tell me today that “we’re still working on getting unit changes correct”. That’s a direct quote.0

They are cis I'm doing mine daily0

Your supplier is actually billing you daily? If so, then you’re causing yourself the problem by forcing them to apply un-updated rates0

EDF smart meter rates correct this morning.0

I do hope people are correct about the stated prices being wrong, I too am on EonNext, although I am a little more fearful. According to the latest post on OfGem, the stated prices are averages and could be different according to region.
