Hi All - update on my case above. I have received a notice of allocation to the small claims track hearing dated 2nd feb 2023
On the small claims track notice, it says that the court believes that the case is suitable for mediation and this is a very simple process designed to give the opportunity to resolve the disput without having to attend a court hearing.
The deadline to accept this mediation would be by 9th Feb 2023.
My question is, should I accept this mediation? would it be in my best interests to do so? @KeithP @Coupon-mad help please!0

SO NO .. you need a face to face with a real judge. ..... once DCBL know they will have to face a judge with a rubbish UKPC claim, chances are very high they will discontinue
 Don't miss the deadline3

Hi all, update to the above. I have now been served with an N244 application notice from DCB Legal Ltd although previously I had received communication from CCBC Northampton that the case had been closed. I was surprised to receive General Form Of Judgment or Order in County Court at Clerkenwell & Shoreditch a few days ago which states that DCB legal made application for case to be reinstated on 31st March 2023 without a hearing.
 The letter states:
1: The claimant is granted relief from sanctions pursuant to CPR3.9 for it's failure to pay the trial fee pursuant to the order of 3 January 2023
 2: The claim is reinstated
3; List for hearing first open date after 28 days which will be on 24 July 2023 at 10:00AM with a time estimate of 2 hours at CC at clerkenwell & Shoreditch
4: Because this order has been made without a hearing any party may apply to have the order set aside or varied, within 7 days of service of this order. Dated 5 May 2023
The General Form of judgement or order has two dates which confused me, the date under claim number was 15th June 2023 which makes sense as I only received this through the post on saturday 17th June. The date of 5 May 2023 is confusing me and was written directly under point 4 above within the form.
Please can you advise me the next steps as I'm not sure how to proceed now when previously they advised me that the case was suspended and DCB were to pay the court costs?
 Thanks!

The Judge dictated that Order in May but the court are behind and/or could only be bothered to type it up 6 weeks later.
Did DCBLegal actually serve you with their N244 in April? Or was this the first you knew about it?
