In my experience, mail redirection takes a few days to set up, possibly 5-7 days. If Starling have already sent the cheque, it probably won’t be caught by the mail redirection.
See if Starling will cancel the current cheque. If they 3ill and do, set up the mail redirection then a few days after that, ask Starling to resend the cheque.
If not, you will have to go door knocking.

I was suggesting that the mail redirection should have been set up when the OP first moved, not now (although your suggestion might be a workable option in the circumstances).

If Starling  cancelled the cheque- unlikely- it would be easier to ask them to send it to the correct address.

Why didn't you set up a mail redirection to your new address when you left the old one? Had you done that then you would at least know that the cheque would turn up where you live now.
Rather obviously because they didn't anticipate anything being sent to the old address that they would need to be redirected...

I've not used it once, never had a single issue with needing it and have thus saved myself several hundred pounds...

It wouldn't be obvious in the circumstances where you had an account with a financial institution and hadn't told them your new address though.

Personally I'd tell the bank I'd moved and set up a redirection to catch any mail which was sent to the old address during the changeover period.

Starling won't send a cheque to a address they do not hold on their system. No matter what the OP tries.

I’ll have to go door knocking at my old address to get the cheque as starling as sent it to there.. I’ve informed the old agent I used to rent through and they said they’ll let the new T know .. but I’ll go post a note through to say to keep letters what come from starling ect ect
