Starling closed account and sending cheque ?

Starling bank reviewed and closed my account and is sending a cheque to my old address ..
it’s a £4k cheque here I seriously don’t know what to do? Can I get them to transfer the money to my other bank account? Or do I have to wait for the cheque I’m going out of my mind here of stress and worry

No starling has sent the cheque today .. and I don’t know if I’m going to have trouble getting the cheque..Penguin_ said:

So you could go to the address & ask them if they could forward to you, or hold onto it for you.Standingstrong said:

Ask Starling to cancel the cheque and give them the new address - do it on phone, messaging and writing if needs be2 -
I’ve contacted the letting agent and she said she’s going to get the new occupiers to look out for it and get them to bring it in there office , but they never answer the door…Penguin_ said:

As an example.Banks and other financial institutions treat honesty as having utmost importance. In your position I'd be less worried about getting hold of the Starling cheque, and more worried about whether there are other FI's I'd forgotten to inform about the move, and/or what will happen if the closure of your Starling account is due to some kind of concerns regarding fraud (i.e. if a CIFAS marker is heading your way)8 -
