  • The 30 min challenge got me started at least

    List for today:-
Manic Monday- Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe those surfaces, make sure you move things this week and clean under them
Check you have enough crockery/cutlery that you aren't embarrassed to use for the Christmas dinner!
    [/STRIKE]Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, wipe any spills
Wipe dining table (clean cloth if needed)
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe & replace small appliances, kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances.
Clean washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker hood (if washable) and dishwasher filters
    [/STRIKE]

    Plus
[STRIKE]Speak again insurance people - ring them back if haven't heard from them by 2pm
    [/STRIKE]
Christmas wrapping - either til its done or until my back screams
    Write Christmas cards to post
    Post Christmas cards
Make a list of which presents still need to be brought (or re-brought)
    [STRIKE]WM[/STRIKE]

Was on the phone ages to the lady from Legal and General about our break-in, but at least some things are sorted. She's sending someone this afternoon to look at/measure up the front door - won't feel safe until there is glass in it instead of a piece of wood - silly I know but ... and she'll sort out a cheque for the things taken (minus the £150 excess of course).

Some things to add to my list:-
Send cheque to company who boarded up the door
Send nice letter to the local nick for officers being helpful - I always try to do this whenever someone does me a good service - it always goes a long way in service industries.
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

The bread came out ok.. the cat footprints look like they are meant to be there (they did have a towel over them so no mudy pawprints lol)

The bed sheets are airing off in the dryer so I can make the bed before I go out tonight.

I have a bit more laundry to fold then the chimps can put it away.

30 minute challenge anyone?? 4-4:30?? I REALLY need to get the rest of the kitchen floor and work surface cleared and cleaned!
