Would I be setting a very bad example if I signed the pledge? I've now realised I'm never going to get everything done I want to so going to go through my various lists and see what the priority ones are. I even forgot to post the rent cheque and go to the bank to pay money in today, my head is on backwards!

    Oh stuff it

We the undersigned will not let our Christmas be spoilt by trying to be everything to everyone, if our homes are not 100% perfect then let it be our friends and family want to see us not our cleaning/flying skills. We will do our best and sod the rest Happy Christmas everyone

I only wish family didn't seem to just visit to have a nosey and try to find things to pick about....grrr......

Xmas party tonight, kids will hopefully play nice in the play area, asking for a miracle this time of year with a group of kids with ASD maybe, but I am hopeful.

Kitchen, bah, well I started it, gone back to front and did the floor first, still haven't done the oven but I have a liner in the bottom so shouldn't take much doing, either when I get home or tomorrow. Everything else apart from clearing benches and doing the oven is done as I have just dumpered all the shopping on them. Yep, I went to Costco......will have to check receipts later as I have made a bit of a DENT in what was left of the grocery budget......ooooops....but I now have lots of cheese :rotfl:DP has washed my car & cleared it out, suppose only right as he's using it for everything at the mo since we took his off the road.

Polly, love the tree :D Hugs to those who need one, from the posts that bloomin' tax office is the source of so many problems, would it hurt them to get things right just for one year....?

Oh and my cold is still here and now I have an ear infection so I am rather grumpy, I've posted tomorrows list incase I am in no fit state to think after the kids party. Need to leave by 5pm so best sort the stuff out I should have posted today...
One day I might be more organised...........

Hex great minds think a like I did a couple of hours out there, exhausted now but like you it looks better, wheelie full for Wednesday and yes lots of bulbs peeking through flower buds on the trees.

Mum here at the moment playing with DS3 - he could not join the thing at school so stayed home. He sobbed until I said he could eat one of the candy canes of the tree (I had said not until christmas eve) and that seemed to cheer him up.

Right need to put some spuds in and hoover the kitchen floor.

Oh bless him Dusty, I hope he's feeling better soon, I am sure the candy cane will be much better than any medicine. Oh and gardening, brrrr, not a hope! Bad enough collecting poop off the frozen grass, think that's about as much attention as my garden will get until this weather cheers up, can't dig frozen soil anyway :rotfl:

i've been busy busy here today but sadly not with anything much from the list!
i've been to the beautician and had leg, bikini & underarm wax, eyebrow shape, eyelash tint and head massage! legs are a bit sore as haven't had them waxed for years and i am REALLY hairy (think gorilla, seriously!)
also nipped to tesco, had coffee at friend's (meant to be out but one of her LOs was poorly) and been to drs, had typhoid jab and got malaria prescription (for south africa in february), and got 2 presciptions filled so have actually not stopped all day.

need to leave in 20 mins for weightwatchers, then need to crack on with my list tonight. kitchen floor is really sticky from the orange juice so i can't avoid doing that one! and people coming tomorrow to help pack so i need to get some stuff sorted!

go through clothes & charity shop what i don't need
    put clean washing away
    DW
    post extra wedding invite
phone gran (10 years since grandad died)
phone 2 removals companies for quotes
finish list of stuff to pack on tues
