Tesco's was a nightmare but managed to get all i needed. DS1 eating like a pig but as soon as he's finished he throws it back up again and then he say's my belly's empty and wants more to eat, hopefully it will only be a 24 hour thing.
Right now onto the kitchen and wm and td will be going all day.
Right back later.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
Tia try http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ this might help and if there are any doubts or it says call NHS Direct then I would just take him straight to A&E will save you waiting a call back and then a possible trip to A&E. Plus they will be very busy tonight. Sending you hugs and positive vibes.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

Phoned GP surgery, one of them will call back.. and DS2 is looking a lot better  kids! Get you all worried for nothing! I think maybe he has a urine infection... he did a dribble, and I mean a dribble and then suddenly felt better. Plus, in the bath he was yelping on all fours? Dunno, will wait and see what GP says, he will probably think I'm a paranoid mother no doubt, never mind.
ETA, GP called, predictably he said it was 'This Viral thing'. Which apparently, if you believe all the GP's who have said that, Christopher has had since end of July. Anyway, he is better, munching some food, so won't worry about it.0 -
Thats good tia, you dont want sicks kids at christmas. My LO has developed a delightful bark, and is losing her voice which is quite cute:rolleyes:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Awww G&B! That is cute, poor wee thing! Hope she manages to keep it till tomorrow, though, by that time, you may wish she would loose her voice to get some peace!0

Hi everyone,
lil_me - let's hope that those antibiotics clobber the ear infection as well! I do hope that you are feeling better soon, and that it doesn't spoil your Christmas.
tiamai - kids!!! They do that to you again and again... I once carried in a semi conscious child, had to wait for a while, he perked up and positively skipped into the surgery. I was mortified, but my GP's are lovely. They just said they'd much rather see dozens of false alarms than miss the one that really is serious.
I have had a lovely morning.I delivered DS2 to a friends, after a speed clean of the kitchen and livingroom. Then DD and I delivered a present to a very good friend and stayed for coffee, and a quick look at her especially early snowdrops. A rapid trip round Sainsbury's (surprisingly quiet) for bread and milk (and so DD could check out the fit lads that are working there over Christmas!!) then home for lunch. I'm just having a coffee and a spell on here before doing the trimming bits and stuffing ready for tomorrow. I shall probably slide into Sainsbury's around four to see if they have reduced any of their flowers. I would like to have a bunch, but can't justify spending £15 on such an indulgence!
Enjoy your Christmas Eve!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
We've been to the piccies and DH has just taken the children out on the rounds with the homemade christmas chocolates they made yesterday. Peace for half an hour. Need to tidy the kitchen up but the rest of the house is fine. Children's rooms still tidy after major overhaul yesterday. DS left dressing gown on his floor so I put it in his bin - think he got the message!
Mmmmm, think I need a chocolate before I start the kitchen. I am desperate for a turkey sandwich - I could eat them every day of the year.
Hope all the poorly littlies are better soon, DS felt really sick earlier but went to the toilet and without going into details felt much better afterwards!
Don't forget the kitchen foil those going out to the shops! xxJanuary budget

Hello each, hope you're all not stressed and are coping. I'm remarkably laid back. Am resisting the urge to go to Mr T's to look for cheap bargains. There's NO room in the freezer and I REALLY don't need anything else at the moment.
Update on my tasks for today- Wrap Christmas presents will do this tonight when all the kiddiewinks are out with their friends
- Prepare croissant dough this afternoon will set the dough going when I nip next door for a christmas drink so it's ready to roll when I get back
- [STRIKE]Experiment with blini dough[/STRIKE] ran out of time to experiment so will suck it and sea tonight!
- [STRIKE]Unexpected meeting on community matters at 2pm (fortunately at my place - have time boxed it for an hour)[/STRIKE] someone wants me to sit on a committee - don't know whether to feel really pleased I'm needed or groan about the extra work I know it'll bring to me.
- Wash kitchen floor again will do once all the prep is out of the way
- [STRIKE]Wash utility floor again[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover my bedroom again[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover living room again[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sweep hallways[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Hoover front room again[/STRIKE]
- Water plants
- [STRIKE]Prepare turkey stock from giblets[/STRIKE]
- Prepare vegetarian dish up to cooking point ready for tomorrow halfway there
- Make stuffing waiting for the chestnuts to cook
- Stuff turkey
- Decide how much beef I'm going to cook tomorrow and put rest in freezer.
- Prepare dips for starters in progress
- Brush dog in an attempt to remove the number of hairs being deposited all over the place (ladies, my top tip: NEVER get a white dog - it's only the white hairs that ever seem to shed.
