How dare Wilkinsons restrict me to 150 items in my basket, now I am going to have to put through more seperate orders and pay more delivery costs, hmm, might send them a nagging email. I've been adding stuff for the last half an hour and half of it hasn't gone on because it blocks it at 150 items :(

Anyone coming along on the last day who is part of our cup to help boost the total? It ends at midnight tonight. I think my £240 in orders over the last couple of days, inc the £150+ today might nudge us back up to third place, but I do have another order to place which I will be doing in an hour or so. Shampoo, conditioner, DPs razor blades (more of), baby wipes, surface cleaner, cloths, oven cleaner, more soda crystals and washing powder etc yet to order.

Dusty I always put them in the machine but the dishwasher thing makes sense, I have done DPs & DSs baseball caps in there. I always clean the trainers with some disinfectant in aswell, usually zoflora, gets rid of the bugs that cause the nasty niffs.
One day I might be more organised...........

Updated list below. Hope it makes sense. Slightly squiffy from visit to best friend's to drop her birthday present off. Her husband offered me a brandy, I said OK. It turned up in a glass so large, there must have been nigh on a quarter of a bottle of the stuff sitting the fashionable distance up to the top of the widest part. It was a bit early in the day even for me. Never mind, I had to be polite didn't I... ~hic~

Am going to attempt to do my feet and paint my toenails. If you see painting toenails on the list tomorrow, you'll know I didn't do it quite right due to squiffieness!!!!

And my thoughts to everyone missing loved ones this Christmas.
    • [strike]Have a long soak in the bath instead of a quick functional one[/strike]
    • [strike]Give hair a good condition[/strike]
    • Get footspar out and soak feet and exfoliate them
    • Do toenails
    • [strike]Deep clean, tone and moisturise my old and rugged face[/strike]
    • [strike]Read at least three chapters of the book I bought last week and haven't even started[/strike] read five chapters :)
    • [strike]Wrap best friend's birthday present[/strike]
    • [strike]Write best friend's birthday card[/strike]
    • [strike]Wander down road to deliver said present and card[/strike]
    • [strike]Take a leisurely walk with the dog and deliver local christmas cards[/strike]
    • Browse cookery books for ideas on fantastic dips for starters (this, actually, to me, is pleasurable!)
True flylady tasks which ought to be done today:
    • [strike]S&S[/strike]
    • [strike]Wash throws from living room[/strike].
    • Maybe some ironing
    • Cook roast dinner (remembering DiL is now vegetarian)
    • Maybe start wrapping Christmas presents rather than leave them until tomorrow

:rotfl: @ squiffy soappie. Might be best to delegate the cooking etc depending how squiffy that brandy has made you feel.

For some reason DPs boss has bought him a bottle of whiskey and me a bottle of wine, oh well they will come in handy as Christmas presents for someone or raffle prizes later in the year. He's got the kids selection boxes aswell. But as usual DP forgot to take their pressies over last night so if he's not going to work tonight he'll have to take them over regardless.

Has anyone else on the QuidCo cup had a bonus? Just been looking (desperately waiting for my order to track!) and seen 2 credits of £2 on my account :D must have been from the spot prizes. Oooo they have white vinegar in the squirty bottles, I'll have to add a few of them to this order...

LJD1 - I think all the others have put it so well... Adding a prayer tonight for those who are thinking of lost loved ones at this time of year.

Fairly peaceful day today, after waking up much too early with a headache. I've done all but a few little bits of wrapping up, and have nearly finished sewing up the bolero I knitted for DD, which I want done before Christmas, although it isn't actually a present.

I sent all three off to buy their choice of drinks with OH this morning! A nice little break for me. I did however issue dire warnings about not arguing or getting him to buy silly amounts of stuff (and no spirits) and for once they must have listened because it all seems to have gone very smoothly.

After lunch I made the mince pies, so the whole house smells delicious! Right, I'm off to change to go to the candlelit Nine lessons and carols - my Christmas begins here!

I expect I'll pop in tomorrow, although I have a longish list of things to do, further complicated by DS2 wanting a lift over to see his friend.

Happy Christmas!! Thank you to all of you for all you've done for me this year!!

Just to let you know that sadly my friend's husband died yesterday. I wanted to thank you all for advice and cheering me up at times over the last few weeks. On a positive note they are all preparing for a massive Christmas Day for the two children which they say won't be the same but will be different and as fun as possible for the littlies.

Sorry if this post is a bit of a downer but it's not meant to be so i'd like to raise a toast to those who won't be with us this year and a toast to you all for making it so i'm no longer ashamed of my house and bringing laughter and lunacy (pigpen!) to me this year xx

Hugest of hugs to your friends, her family, their children and you.. That must be incredibly hard.. I'm going to die in Summer.. Bless you all.

I've given up caring about the mess.. If people don't like it.. they don't have to come round..

Lil_me.. hope you are feeling better soon.. and get yourself off to the GP.. what good are you to anyone if you are laid up ill? .. get yourself sorted woman!

LJD1 i'm so sorry to hear that and big hugs from me.

Lil_me not sure if this will help any but if you get your OH to breath (not blow)in your ear it should ease it for awhile, thats what my mum used to do to us when we had a sore ear but it only eaases it for a short time.

My heads thumping today and i'm achey all over, really hoping i don't take the flu. Took it last year and the only good think about it was i lost 11/2 stone in 3 weeks.

Hoping to get little ones in bed and do a little flying and build DD's bike then if money is in account at midnight i might go and do tesco shop then, want to get it out of the way ( it opens at 12.01am madness).

Right hubby just put them all to bed so i'm gettin a cuppa and then gonna do half hour challage in the kitchen.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Just sorting my food cooking for tomorrow.. I have to get the pig in at 8am.. hhhmmm... no pub for me tonight then.. so I'll stay up and wrap!

Most of the veggies I bought ready prepared for next to nothing reduced in tesco yesterday..

Potatoes to do which hubby can do and I'll leave in water until needed.. and ditto carrots..

I WILL have dinner on the table by 2pm..

Only thing is DS1 is working until 6pm so I'll have to save him some.

    That's sorted.

DD2 is upchucking left right and centre at the moment..

I need a shopping list for the morning so I can send hubby out. I got the fruit and veg today.. or rather MOST of it.. just doing that with my spare arm.

I've had my nail fixed.. finished shopping for the children and just have my sisters bf to buy something for.. the one we have only known a couple of weeks and met all of 4 times!!!! !!!!!! do you buy him??????

hubby cooking dinner while I sort out my remaining parcels, packages and shopping lists..

F**k the flying.. to coin a phrase lol.

#dd1 is vacuuming the middle room so it is devoid of hay, .. ooh need to buy that too.. rabbit poo and crumbs...

    Anyway.. back to the insanity!
