Norwich shop done, Past Times was fab as you suggested, got reductions on most things, although not sure the reduced prices were worth the stress of doing it last minute.
Lil-me, I love Wilkinson's but I am sure I am too late to take part in the challenge! I hope you begin to feel better soon.
Rach, safe journey and happy christmas.
Dusty, you made me laugh with the trainers in the dishwasher, desperate measures.....
AnW's Mum, great photo, you both look very happy!
Thinking of everyone who has lost loved ones. Puts it all into perspective for sure. DS in bed, DD playing, OH on way home from his gig, aim to have a cosy family evening. Will make a list later.
Thanks for all the support yesterday and kind thoughts today, you are a great group of people.

Pigpen - it really is not the kitten season so you maybe out of luck. I would say no to shredding cabbage in the paper shredder you can do it in the magimix if you have one.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

lbn unfortunately if you're not already one of the members then it would be too late. Pleased to hear you found what you needed, I thought Past Times would be a good choice I've had some lovely things from there myself, thankfully there was one in Norwich then. I know what you mean about the stress and if it's worth the reductions but it's darn frustrating when you pay full price for something only to see it reduced later.
Pigpenjust hoping some can push it a little further, my partner would go mental if he found out I have spent over £350 with them in a week :rotfl: £250 just in the last 24 hours
but thought well if I can afford it, stocking up on things I will use over the year and others could maybe do the rest, we could do well in the cup. My partner may be sweetened by the fact I have bought him 10 packs of Gillette Fusion blades and 10 tins of his fave deoderant and not moaned once at how much they cost...
Pet shops might have kittens, ones up here do but I wouldn't buy from them, my friend lost a cat recently who just took ill and the vet said it was probably because it was a shop cat, so much inbreeding. One day I might be more organised...........

Hi Lovely Lot!
I've got an hour or two to sit down and I thought I'd pop in and see how everyone's doing. Hugs to poorlies, esp Lil_me with your earache; being poorly when you need to be on the ball is doubly awful and stressful. I've raised a glass to absent loved ones and held my breath for those making long journeys over the next few days. The countdown for my baby niece or nephew starts tomorrow ( SILs due date) so I'll be on tenterhooks until there's a safe delivery. Emotionally worn out!
I've had a busy week workwise and socially so when I finished at 3 today I've had a mega Fly and laundry time. The house is officially clean for Santa so long as he wipes his boots. I've stupidly agreed to start work at 7.30 tomorrow too so we can finish earlier and then my to-ing and fro-ing along the A69 begins for 3 days..sigh.. Next lie-in is Saturday.
I need food shopping too but I might just wing it, I can't face the supermarket for just a few things and I'm not at home for the 2 days I'm off. I don't envy any of you having to do it tomorrow but I wish you luck.
One more glass of wine, ten more chocolate biscuits and a film before bed I think. I most likely won't be back before Christmas so I really hope you all have a good one. Cheers Flyladies! xOne debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Solwaykid hope you have a lovely Christmas, hope the new arrival comes safely and soon, a Christmas baby maybe?
Oh how did I miss Pigpen nagging me, honey I went to the doctors last week after I'd had this over a week and he said there was nothing he could do for me, well I'm phoning at 8am tomorrow, will see if I can see another doctor, stamp my feet and scream if even I just get decent pain relief. Water infection on top now so not just going with the same thing. Need to ring the dentists too as DP has major toothache making him like a bear with a sore bottom! One day I might be more organised...........

Anyone mind if I join in this? (After Christmas and New Year, there's my proviso
)
I will try not to protest too much and try and involve my daughter in helping Mummy in cleaning to try and occupy her.

That is untrue.. most ear infections are bacterial therefore antibiotics are VITAL.. and the sooner they are starter the better! The water infection also needs AB's as they can spread quickly to the kidneys.. Tell him you will report him if he doesn't treat you appropriately!! that works!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
