:( see that is what I thought pigpen, anyway, will see tomorrow, only problem is getting up and calling on time for them opening, first problem is if I am asleep on my left side I can't hear the alarm, if the left ear goes off again DP will have to phone for me, I can hear out of it at the minute but a bit fuzzy. If no joy getting an appointment I think I will ring GP out of hours service. DPs step mam just pointed out that I am on some of the strongest pain killers, so doubtful others will help. Wish you lived closer I'd have dragged you to the doctors with me so you could stamp your feet aswell. I wouldn't mind if it didn't now hurt from the top of my head to the bottom of my neck! Tummy and back pain I think is the darn water infection..

Sorry for moaning, I just don't feel festive in any way at all at the minute, the Christmas food shopping still needs finishing and all the wrapping, in too much pain to be ar*ed!!! Can I not just skip this one?

Ophie, I didn't realise she was a Christmas eve little one, or so young, I thought she was 4 or 5. I am sure Christmas will be wonderful for you both :D Is that her on the photo, if it is then awwwwww!!!

My partner is fast asleep, so I have been ringing round to see how much he's stuck on his credit cards recently, hmmmm, I don't usually check up as he pays for them but they are a tad high at the mo. No room for more Wilkos spending on those then :rotfl:

Make sure you get to the Doctors tomorrow morning or if nothing else the hospital first thing if you can. Less chance of Christmas drunks being there and less chance of any carving knife accidents having occurred. It's crappy being sick over Christmas, its bad enough any time of the year, but Christmas is worse as hardly any places are open to help!!

Yeah thats her in the pic, the small one :o I'm the huge one!!! :o I shall be [STRIKE]conning[/STRIKE] teaching her cleaning etc... with me is a game

Hi everyone! Not sure if anyone prehaps remembers me but in the vain hope someone does :o just wanted to pop in and wish you all a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2008!!!

Joining in with 'the love' and wanted to thank you all for the support that you've given me when I used to post. Stopped posting for various reasons but mainly cos I felt I had to push myself and get out and try and make some friends. Am happy to report both me and DS are doing well, we moved in the summer and are now settled in and have made some lovely friends - we now have a social life! DH is still working long hours but we are so much better now as a couple and we make the time we are all together count.

Still fly everyday when DS is napping and am doing more and more in way of OS-ing. House looks good for Christmas, presents have been wrapped weeks :o and all food shopping done beginning of month :o (apart from fresh stuff that couldn't freeze) and its thanks to getting my head around flying. Thanks ladies for showing me the way LOL!!!!:D I've never been so organised DH thinks I've been abducted:rotfl:

Also wanted to say I've kept up with the thread and wanted to offer hugs and you to know my thoughts are with you for various reasons. Massive hugs to AnW's mum I really admire they way you handle yourself and your DH would be proud, LJD1 thinking of you and your friends family - we are spending our first christmas without someone dear and its so hard - plus hugs to poorlies

Anyway, best wishes and much love - if anyone remembers me I might start posting again:o  sneaks off back lurking

Thanks Lil_me, thats lovely of you xxx Yes, am much more postive nowdays, if I'm honest I was really struggling this year with DS being so horriably poorly, greiving, money issues, , living somewhere we hated all meant my dreaded drepression bit me on the the bum - I could go on. But thankfully things are so much better, mainly thanks thats to OS-ing and budgeting and a timely bonus of DH being paid meaning (again) we are debt free and cc's have been chopped up and burnt!.

Anyway, you Miss, you must, must, must get sorted tomorrow, either docs or hospital. Please stamp feet and cry if you must to get the s*ds to help you, really feel for you being poorly. xx

LJD meant to offer my condolences earlier to your friend's family and to you as well. It's always terrible whenever it happens but at this time of year it seems particularly cruel. What a fantastic family though and those children will be the saving grace out of all of this.

evening all, bet you didn't expect to see me so soon tonight...

slight change of plan, was dead proud of myself, was all packed and loaded into the car, talk for service written (went down well), everything was good, til i realised i couldn't find my phone anywhere. very odd as i had it earlier. so between that and how much fog has been around esp in the area OH lives (croydon) decided eventually to stay here tonight. even if i went without my phone (only thought is I've either binned it by mistake or packed it - hopefully the latter!) i've now got myself wound up and wouldn't get there til almost 12:(

so the plus side is i am here, planning on eating (forgot that bit in my grand plan), backing the car up friends drive so i don;t have to unpack it, and packing the rest of my stuff. i did push the hoover round earlier but i'm hardly here in jan so really should pack another few boxes. will get up at a reasonable hour in the morning and get myself there in the light.
