Also wanted to say I've kept up with the thread and wanted to offer hugs and you to know my thoughts are with you for various reasons. Massive hugs to AnW's mum I really admire they way you handle yourself and your DH would be proud
Thanks tracyit's so nice to see you back and so many other people who have made great contributions to the thread over the year. Really pleased that you are now settled in your new place and great news about your new friends. All that and you have kept up with flying as well, I am so impressed. I am an imposter on here  never seem to achieve as much as I should but at least I have a laugh and smile along the way. I'm sure my report would say 'could do better':rotfl:
Do keep posting, if I can with practically no flying done then I am sure as heck you can as wellOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Blimey Rach thought you'd got there at warp factor 6 till I read a bit further! Glad you are ok though and decided to stay put though. I went out last week without my phone and we had a flat tyre! Although I don't use it an awful lot I am hardly ever without it and always keep it charged up.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

AnWsMum your report will say - If she doesn't realise soon that being a flylady on this thread is more than just housework, that she is like the rest a vital part of it being such a lovely thing to be part of and what she has achieved is amazing she'll get a kick up the ****
Oh and apart from emails etc I have done naff all, my kids gave up waiting to be told or nagged to go to bed and have took themselves, DP just went up and they are both asleep in bed, we thought they were still playing but quietly, you can tell when Mam is poorly as she can't be bothered to nag them....
Rach part of me is relieved you aren't travelling tonight because I would have worriedit's not nice out there and I will be bad enough worring about my partner without worrying if you are ok too, especially when I seen the fog forecasts, you sit tight, get something nice to eat and I can just worry in the morning instead....
One day I might be more organised...........

I had better go wrap the hamper for DH's work partner who is calling in tomorrow with pressies for A & W. She's arriving at 8am :eek:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

What on earth does she want to come at that time for? Must be one of those who can function way too early.
My mothers coming over tomorrow evening, wonder if I should be fair and warn DP incase he wants to escape
Right, I think I should do some wrapping, I'm good and can multi task watching Corrie at the same time. Well that is if I can keep off the loo, drinking lots of water to try to clear things up  of course I haven't stopped going all day.One day I might be more organised...........

i am just enjoying a nice glass of red after another tiring day. Lovely to be able to sit and catch up, and i even got to watch my anthea's perfect xmas in peace upstairs. (with a little gentle nagging, DH took the hint and wrapped my presents while i was upstairs, and i managed to do some folding and sort out a few loads of washing of DH's work stuff to go through tomorrow. - airers can stay up in spare room with door shut.
)
To do before xmas:
Housework- [strike]Remove my school stuff from dining table [/strike]and clean it all ready to use
- [STRIKE]Wash all glass table mats[/STRIKE], put away, get out granite ones
- Clean sink/draining board
- wipe round all the white kitchen appliances
- wash cat feeding mat
- [STRIKE]wash tray kettle stands on[/STRIKE]
- Tidy away things on the desk and on the wall unit that need sorting/putting away
- Get all clothes washed that we want to take away next week
- [strike]Change our bed just need to remake[/strike], [strike]wash bedding[/strike]
- [strike]Water all plants before we go away[/strike]
- [strike]Clean both cars[/strike]
- [strike]Empty kitchen bin, clean kitchen bin[/strike]
- Full hoover through – [strike]kitchen, dining room, living room[/strike], hall, stairs, landing, our room, charlie’s room, spare room, bathroom need to empty hoover before i can continue - probably get DH to do when he gets in
- Clear ironing pile
- Deliver neighbours xmas cards
- Put all wrapping paper, tags, xmas paper away in spare bedroom
- Sort presents to go to various places into bags started
- Empty chair hotspot in living room
- put walk along/ride on toy in garage for summer
- clean bathroom
- work out where to put the 8 packs of 54 nappies bought from wilko - currently taking up most of the landing 1 put on top of charlie's wardrobe
- Wrap remaining presents i think 3 more to do when i find them
- Drop friend’s present at her house
- drop finlay's pressie off
- drop dave and sarahs pressie off
- pop to DH's work to see if mum's pressie has been delivered DH been today but will go in again tomorrow
- if not, try to track down to a postal depot
- find missing 2 pressies that i haven't seen since DH's parents stopped for charlie's birthday party in october - drat!
- get out stuffing balls and mini sausage and bacon out to defrost
- [strike]get lots of AA batteries[/strike]
- assemble charlie's rock and spin zebra pressie from mum
- check the batteries are charged in the camera and camcorder
- make a family spag bol for xmas eve dinner -[strike] get mince out of freezer[/strike]
lil-me hope you get in somewhere tomorrow. We have bought extra eye drops from boots for charlie as he is on his 4th lot of conjunctivitis in a month, and although we could have got it free it was worth the fiver to save the time.
LDJ very sorry about your friend's husband.
rach another one glad to see you aren't about in the fog. better to drive when not distracted by anything, and like you say, you can make use of that time.
quidco sorry, i have just had a look, and i really can't buy anything else, money and storage wise as both cars due MOT and service in early January, and the landing is still covered in nappies i ordered last time. Plus, we would not be around to take delivery of the parcel. hopefully what you have managed to spend will be enough, and very sorry i couldn't do more. I have tried my best to get xmas pressies from those outlets. Shame it isn't on for a little bit longer through the sales as i would have looked at debenhams again.
AnW's mum you do about the same amount of flying as me, which is as much as you can when you work and have kids. Don't feel bad for doing some social stuff and keeping in touch with family. Lovely photo of you and your daughter.
Tracey quick wave to you, nice to see you around. You sound so much more organised than me at the moment, although it will all happen. Would be lovely to see you around more after the hols.
Right girls, can't remember if i wanted to say anything else or not, but i guess as DH hasn't made a move already then we need to make a start on the kitchen clean up for the night so we can be in bed before midnight, It will be a little bit hectic tomorrow but i will be done early if it kills me.
Michelle, x0 -
Michelle, like I said noone wants anyone to spend what they can't afford, was more of a reminder for those who said they still needed things. Definately not worth ordering when you are away as Amtrak who deliver for them have left parcels outside at my house before, they could be there for days!
I do hope little Charlie stops getting it soon, my youngest had it a lot at about the same age including his first Christmas, it is a nightmare isn't it. Now it's just the dog who keeps getting it.One day I might be more organised...........
