Well.. I'm up.. pig is in the SC.. washing hung to dry.. the day is planned and so far so good.. I'm off for a shower now and booting hubby out of bed.. he has a shopping list.. just a little one.. about 2 miles long.. and I need him to nip into town for some lego for DS3... it is his latest obsession.. to go with pokemon and star wars!!!!!!!!! My children are all geeks!!!

    I think I need a cuppa!

I have a big box and a half to wrap.. and I've misplaced one of hubbys presents too.. but it doesn't matter.. I can save it for his birthday next month if I have to.. I found the other one I had lost... and some more bits I'd got for DD1.. I also located a huge bag of next stuff I bought in the sale last year which will fit everyone now.. so they have new tights and pj's and all sorts too.

    What was Idoing again????????

    ............oh yes...........

    Morning all.

It feels good to be so advanced with Christmas this year. Tasks for today:
    • Wrap Christmas presents
    • Prepare croissant dough this afternoon
    • Experiment with blini dough
    • Unexpected meeting on community matters at 2pm (fortunately at my place - have time boxed it for an hour)
    • Wash kitchen floor again
    • Wash utility floor again
    • Hoover my bedroom again
    • Hoover living room again
    • Sweep hallways
    • Hoover front room again
    • Water plants
    • Prepare turkey stock from giblets
    • Prepare vegetarian dish up to cooking point ready for tomorrow
    • Make stuffing
    • Stuff turkey
    • Decide how much beef I'm going to cook tomorrow and put rest in freezer.
    • Prepare dips for starters
    • Brush dog in an attempt to remove the number of hairs being deposited all over the place (ladies, my top tip: NEVER get a white dog - it's only the white hairs that ever seem to shed.
That's all for now I think.

Have a great day ladies and don't stress/fret too much

    Morning all

Two loads of washing done, one load hung outside and the other draped round indoors.

Turkey in the oven cooking, means I don't have to worry if it takes longer than I expect and it leaves the oven free for other stuff tomorrow. Got to remember to check it at 10.30.

DS is home now but he's still asleep! DH is awake (I sent the dog up) but reading in bed. I've got to go to work this afternoon. DD2 is at work now. We're having egg and chips for tea today, nice and plain before the rich food starts ;)

No.. it isn't. my mother has 3 dachshunds and 2 are red and one is silver dappled and they all shed twice a year.. and not all at the same time. Her white dog hardly moults they are just more noticable because we ALL wear black ALL the time!!... We spend half our lives looking like yorkshire terriers.. that don't moult much! lol

When she sweeps most of the hair is black and red!

Oh.. I have REALLY done my leg in this time as well.. I think I've pulled the ligaments in the front of my knee.. so I look like I have elephantitis.. I don't have slinky legs as it is.. I normally look like a pit pony.. I can't walk upstairs.. which is great as the loo is up there!

    Mega drugs for me again!

I coughed until I was almost sick twice and blew my nose and made it bleed.. anyone think I should be put to sleep for my own good?

I'll stand by your experience Pigpen. All I know is that the white hairs are constantly shedding. I could let them build up I suppose to give that snowy effect?

    Hope you feel better soon.
