Beans and toast sounds fabby.. these have stuffed themselves with junk at school this afternoon so a meal isn't really vital nor will it be welcome!

Got my turkey now too - boned and rolled. Does this need a longer cooking time than a whole turkey? Minutes per pound I mean. It's too heavy to weigh on my kitchen scales so I'll get DH to weigh it using bathroom scales later.

    Hello all,

Sorry for the super-long absence, having a young baby is much harder than I remember!!! I'm just popping in to say my hello's and season's greetings!

I'm afraid I don't fly at all any more and my poor house is suffering for it. Keep hoping to get back to my old state of perfection, but youngest doesn't like it apparently. She likes chaos.

Will be back again if I can get myself into gear, if that's not soon, then may you all have a very merry christmas and a happy new year. Take care girlies!

    xxx

Years ago, when my kids were tiny I lived in a house where there was an expensive electric immersion heater or there was the fire place in the living room which also heated the back boiler and worked out much, much cheaper for heating the water.

So, even on the hottest summer's day, you'd find me lighting the fire....
