LJD1.. I eventually did my random act of kindness.. I allowed someone to use my phone to call a taxi or 12 after the twerp in the pub across the road went out and left about 50 children and accompanying adults stranded across the road. I am looking for something better!

I am in pain.. I didn't realise how bad it was until I got halfway down the street.. too far to come back and I appear to have atrocious wind.. *Pigpen prays to God there is noone down'wind' of her today.. PPPPPUUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH*

Right.. what are we up to this fine blooming freezing morning!

• Wipe window sills

Tuesday Triple - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Extra Mission:

• Make a receipts envelope for all the receipts from Christmas presents
• Clean a window or two.

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings

Level Two
Vacuum floors in these areas .. you mean I have FLOOR!!

Thrilling Thursday - Study/PC area and Bathrooms

Clear any clutter from desk

Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats
Wipe down tiles in bathroom

Clean shower curtain
Extra tasks list

• Clean windows in these rooms
• [STRIKE]Chase up any deliveries you are waiting for that have not arrived[/STRIKE]
• Last check of the present list, have you got everything?

Flipping Friday!! - those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
Vacuum the floor,
Level Two
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place,
Dusting
Level Three
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. [STRIKE]check if duvets need freshening up too!![/STRIKE] Just worked my way through those!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors

Have a fantastic Christmas, that's all the tasks you'll have from me until New Years Eve. I would like to take this opportunity to say a sincere thank you from me and my family for all your support through this year which has had some tricky moments. Thank you for making Flylady Threads such a pleasure to be part of.

Now.. my time to make everyone feel sick!!

Lil_me.. Now I just KNOW this wasn't meant for me.. but it has been an absolute pleasure to put up with you and your family and the rest of this freaky lot.. I am so glad I stumbled my way in here over the detritus and other random gibble. I have really enjoyed the laughs and the tears and the hugs and the good & bad news we have shared.

Right.. I want to know now..

What one post sticks in everyones mind from this past year???

Mine has to be AnWsmum.. when A asked if daddy was allowed to listen to the Quo in heaven.. that nearly did me in for the day!! I am reminded every time I hear them now.. which is nice because I do like to think of you all!.. and I do so fairly regularly.

And if anyone says my wash basket photograph.. well.. I may cry!! lol

Actually no, I did love the Quo heaven post and I'm the same when I see them on TV or hear them I always think of AnWsMum and A&W.

I think my fave posts were the baby announcements I know JillD and maralum aren't online as often but just sharing in the joy of a new life is wonderful.

Hard picking just a few when so many mean so much, sharing the ups and downs, from sad times to great times, from loss of a loved one and the support we see from everyone to the joys of a little one taking their first steps (or learning how to clean up after themselves :rotfl: ) new partners and wedding plans, to laundry piles from hell and dirty pots and pans, from pigpens wind to cakes to die for, watching many members go from 'How Clean is Your House' hopefuls to 'Domestic Godess' or at least accepting that noone needs to be perfect and feeling more in control.

Suppose what I am trying to say is I'd be proud to call each and every one of you a friend. Thank you for all being so lovely. I don't think I could function without this thread my time 'without internet' was awful!

Managed to hold it together in Tesco, I almost cried at the till when the DVD I wanted was £11.97 which meant I'd have to use part of my electric money, THEN she told me I had to have my clubcard which I didn't think I had but did, THEN she said I couldn't use the vouchers cause I didn't have the barcode bit on them, so came away with nothing

Did post the xmas card though. :j not that I feel like jumping I want to have a man bashing rant but will spare you, it has something to do with HIM not helping me out for xmas, nothing, 'cept half of littleys big pressie £65 jee flippin whizz. Oops I ranted didn't I

Sorry I haven't been around this week. My DS3 came of his motorbike last Friday and although no bones are broken has a huge hole in his knee. We have had to go to the hospital every day with him to get his dressings changed. He has not been well either so they think he has an infection in the wound. I have still been flying slowly and gently as now my right arm is really painful. It is mainly my elbow, I think. We are not doing so well here. DD and DS2 have colds and I keep asking for help with things only to get only sick or injured help.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You have to laugh!

We have two Christmas trees not brought inside yet, no presents wrapped, meat order cancelled by accident.Oh, forgot to mention the rescue dog who is such a lovely character but who chews absolutely everything. This morning he had my scissors and the printer paper package. Aaaaaaargh!!!

I also think AnWsmum's post about dad listening to Staus Quo was the best this year.

Dustykitten, I so understand how you feel but this year although IBS is just as bad I am laughing about it all........hysterically ...but laughing.

emmb, Tesco's must have loads of stressed tearful people this week to deal with. I tried to use my Clubcardplus for Christmas shopping and it was refused and immediately a woman came over and escorted me to the customer service desk. I was ready to cry as that was all the money I had but it was one of their tills not reading it properly. They asked me three times if I had another card to use. And in front of everyone!!

Just heard DH has gone out in search of a piece of meat for our Christmas dinner. Local butchers is preorders only.

Nope, nothing for it, did manage to get another prescription for the good painkillers but that was all, even they aren't working on it much Try play.com or hmv for the DVD, probably cheaper. Rant away, my partner doesn't put any extra in at Christmas then offered to 'lend you something if you need it' last night which annoyed me a smidge. We have a system where he pays a set amount towards the bills each week from his wages then keeps the rest, but he sees no need to put any extra in at Christmas or for holidays etc which I end up paying all of. **Stops Ranting**

poohbear nice to see you pop in, I hope your lot are all better soon, what a bunch eh! If you don't laugh you'll cry when things get like that. Have a lovely Christmas if we don't see you before, with the dog stick with him, he'll be worth it, I find ignoring Luke works the best when he steals something or ignoring what he has and playing with something else with him. He does it for attention.

YIPE, college is cancelled, don't have to go out in the -3 weather we have hear, yet, :j but do have to go out at some point:( . one more cuppa then i will get some jobs done. lil_me, i hope your ear gets better for christmas.

tidy hotspot on my cheat of draws.
put jacket back on hot water tank. (i will get this done today)
get money for window cleaner.
decide what to have for diner, don't think i can be a**ed going to tesco, i enough in the cupboard to make something, even if it's just beans on toast.
