'Here we are and here we are and here we go.................rockin all over the world'

    Goooooood Morning :D

Quo were great last night most of the stuff they sang A knew :) my friend took some pics of us before we went, will post one tonight.

Just wanted to give you all a great big hug and say thanks for all the support you have given us this week in particular. I'm about 5 pages behind, trying to catch up on the thread!!
I feel all panicy and stressed somebody laid back tell me how to stop being a stressy tressy.

    Dusty
, have an extra hug from me ;) remember the pledge, things will be ok Deep breaths and count to 10. How old are your DS's? The dart board sounds good, if you can't get one in time what about doing a special letter from Father Christmas to leave with his other pressies explaining that he had so many presents for all the children to carry that he has an extra one for him that he is going to bring another time.

Have to go for now, have a good day one and all, see you tonight. xx

That I have not finished buying the presents.
That the kids don't have as many/exciting presents as previous years. Kids don't count presents.value like we do
That the kids won't enjoy Christmas You know that is not true, they will have a great time coz their mum and dad love them
I have no idea what to cook at anytime other then Christmas lunch Christmas is for you as well, mine would be happy with beans on toast if meant they had more time to play
I have not done a food shop Hit the shops early any of the days left ;) rope DH in with a list
I have presents to wrap Wish I could come and help you, get DH roped in or a friend, glass of wine as payment :)
I have cards to write. Forget the cards, if anyone asks you decided not to and will give money to charity instead then set up an e card for all those you have email addresses for.

When I get stressed it sets my IBS off and then I start to worry that I have cancer and that this is my last Christmas.....does that give you a starting point?

You'll get there I have every faith, please try not to stress it will all work out I PROMISE ;)

Morning all. Have bathed and am now on my second cup of tea as I drip dry wrapped in a towel and bathrobe.

Best of luck for those of you who are out shopping today. Stay focussed and remember to eat something before you go to keep your strength up. And don't fret!

My remaining tasks from my long list:
    • Clean bathroom
    • Clean under counter kitchen cupboards
    • Wash kitchen floor
    • Clean oven
    • Clean car inside after trip to dump
    • Wash car outside (it’s a disgrace!)
    • Clean and tidy utility area
    That *should* be achievable today.

When I was lying in the bath this morning contemplating life, the universe and everything, I realised the bathroom walls really could do with a lick of paint. So I've half a mind to give it a quick lick of paint. After all, if I'm to wash the walls anyway, they'll be ready for a coat of paint won't they? What would you do ladies?

Help, help, help! There appears to be a big pink wobbler working its way across my kitchen floor! Has anyone lost one?

Right, I have the kitchen and the DR to do, then some general squeezing and fluffing of cushions. I have both boys so will no doubt need to re-clean the LR by lunchtime.

New fridge coming today - that is actually nearly big enough for us all. Have had a half size one for the last year and it has driven me mad.

Christmas Lunch - Goats cheese for some sort of a starter, Turkey Crown, Rib of Beef, trimmings, something vegetarian for my sister, then a choice of Christmas pudding or Baileys chocolate chestnut things. First time I have had 'proper' visitors for Christmas - does it show?

Time to get on, Granny and Grandad are due at 3pm and we have a lot to do. Now where can I hide the ironing mountain? We don't have a loft, and the shed is full....

Thanks AnW'sMum - the DS the dart board is for is 13 so need need for the letter. Decided to go for it and worry about where it goes later. He also asked for a PS2 game today - I said know but will get that too and he knows most of what he wants he has to wait until his birthday - all golf/cricket related.

Glad you had a good time. Just some brekkie and off we go to school - DS2and3 have tummyache - hoping it is just excitement.

xmas dinner:- erm the usual chicken dinner in this house really, I'm buying a chicken cause we're not big meat eaters so....the only extras I will be putting on the plate will be Brussels (I do like the look of the M&S ones with chestnuts - yum! out of my price range tho methinks lol) and apple sauce lol chocolate log for afters, did want to make my own with a swiss roll but can't be faffed this year so gonna buy one from somewhere.

post last remaining xmas card (not bought any family ones this year)
    * BATHROOM (didn't get round to it yesterday)
    * cloakroom toilet/floor/sink

Back from school run - we cycled which was quick and quite a good stress buster. Need to go back at 9:50 for carols.

I have done DW and WM, emptied compost, moved stuff which belongs in the side shed out of the garage and back where it belongs.

Going to reserve something on Argos website, write a card I need to give and open the blinds

embb I bought some of the mini yule logs which were on offer in Asda for the boys, Christmas pudding for us, well actually DP will probably have both as he is a choccy lover. With the drier what about using one of those condensing boxes? I had one for my last TD, pity I've given it away you could have had that one. I got mine from Kleeneze and was about £20 but sure some people do them on ebay.

Good morning, hardly any sleep, ear pain getting OTT now, I ended up in tears with it through the night, so tired but too painful to sleep. DP is taking DS2 out with him today to get my present so it's either do housework then or try to go back to bed. Speaking of beds both boys wet the beds last night so washing machine will be on overdrive including duvets and all the sheets, may have to resort to using the TD today but will be the first time in several weeks.

Need to do a list of some sort for today, must remember to collect the live food, I'm considering doing the last of the shopping either Sunday or Christmas eve, might check and see what days the farm shop is open and when orders will be ready first. Had a little 'arguement' with DP about his Mother last night (always seems to happen) so hopefully resolve that today aswell.

AnWsMum pleased to hear you had a good time.

Rach - we got in bother for wanting to send a friend who is Sikh into a shop with a back pack on, connected to a wire in his hand attatched to a little torch to ask for some batteries :rotfl: just shows how quick people are to judge. Amount of people who call him a muslim is shocking, he gets rather upset by that.
One day I might be more organised...........
