    Morning all,

Well I'm up and bathed and having a cup of tea. Will get dressed in a moment and then have to crack on with the unexpected bit of work. Hopefully, it'll be done quite quickly.

Have the physio and the dentist this afternoon.

I'll see what flying I can fit in inbetween times. I'll set myself a couple of little challenges for today:
    Put washing machine on
Fold up and put away washing that's been drying in the kitchen since yesterday
Put dishwasher on and empty at the appropriate time.
    Dentist
    Physio
    Wrap gardener's present for tomorrow
    Have a good day all

    Morning everyone,

Today is the day for the eight hour challenge - don't suppose anyone wants to join me ;) ?

Whole house to do, none of it in a really bad state, apart from hot spots in the dining room and the upstairs hall. One child at nursery, the 4yo is here and willing to help (or at least to amuse himself whilst I get on). I think I will do the 15 minutes per room on rotation thing so the ebnefit is spread out and I dont get too bored.

Finish my cup of tea, find my microfibres and the zofloras and off we go.....

Just need to choose the right music. Can't be too loud though or I wont hear the delivery man coming with the bandsaw we 'need' for DH to build me a kitchen.

    Morning

Going to try and get to Tesco today for one of littleys DVD's - hope it's still £8 something cause I've got £6.50 of vouchers to use against it and little else lol *fingers crossed*

Got to take littley to her nanas straight after school as she's taking her out (got tickets for cbeebies at the newcastle arena for her baby cousin) and she's going along too even though she's outgrown them a bit lol

Door posted two cards last night so only one left to go but that's a car jobby, might do that tonight actually.

I've already S&S'd most of the kitchen - just the sink to clear and clean now and the DW to empty. Quick tidy of the living room done too (a few cups etc) WM is on. I tidied up littleys room last night while she was getting ready for bed so tomorrow will just be the cleaning part.

    List:-
    make beds
    S&S kitchen
    empty DW
    empty HW bottle
    WM x 5
TD x 5  my poor leccy..
    sweep through
    sort tea
    BATHROOM
    Tesco

Will add anything else I find later

  • Hello all

Hugs to everyone. Happy Birthday AnW for yesterday.
Pigpen, i hope that your lo's bday went well. Sorry its late but ive been layed up. Tonsilitus . Its really got me so ive been in bed, not in a quiet house either as the guys downstairs have been drilling bashing scraping as they do my kitchen. But hopefully today it will be finished :j and i may be able to get back to some kind of normality and get my house back. Problem is i then have to dust everything and clean everything as its all covered in dust. And all that needs to be done before Friday lunch time as i have friends coming round for nibbles and mince pies and mulled wine before Christmas. So as soon as they are finished im in there and moving everything in so i can then clean the house.

Oh an amusing one for you all. How she managed it i have no idea but.... I was woken up by this sqwarking. I wondered what the hell it was, went downstairs to find the cat chasing a blackbird around the kitchen. Feathers everywhere. Thing was desperately trying to get out the window. Had to throw a tea towel over it and then could scoop it and release it, it flew off no probs . My problem was the kitchen was covered in feathers, everywhere.

    Right time to get up,
    Have a good day everyone.
    Axxx
