Thanks so much for all the hugs, you've all made me cry again!!! I didn't mean to make you all feel sad. Have had a lovely party tea at Nanan's and miracle of miracle's W swam in his lesson AGAIN!

Got some lovely pressies including a Willow Tree ornament from A & W that A chose weeks and weeks ago apparently. It is cloudy here tonight Dusty but I know that he is up there looking down on us all. I don't want anyone to feel awful about prattling/man bashing as that is what I love about this thread it proves that life keeps on going. I hate the widow word (it's a club no one wants to join), you lot make me feel 'normal' :D So drinks are on me tonight, name your poison ;)

Red wine please AnW - think it is a bit cold for cider! oh and if it comes mulled all the better :rotfl:

I agree with pigpen (well apart from the bit about her hubby being an ar*e, I think he's a gem to cope with her nuttyness :D ) AnW'sMum you are most certainly not allowed to feel guilty for making us appreciate what we have, I think we all need reality checks sometimes. I also understand you don't want to use the w word and will join in our man moans, after all, love them as much as we do they are a completely different species.

Oh and give W a great big hug from me and a giant well done :D what a super star!!! Oh and A for picking a lovely present, must have good taste that one.

Drink, hmm, for the first time in months I could just do with one, Archers, Lemonade and a bottle of blue Wkd, in one glass please :D

Anyone know where the cleaning fairy is? I really could do with one in my kitchen. I'm such a messy cook :o tasted fantastic but I have flour everywhere, washing up pile from hell, red food colouring all over the place, cloves popped out when I took the lid off so they're all over the place :o that's just the start of it. Oh bother, suppose it's just me then.

Anyone for a mince pie? Got a few left from last night.
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm cold sitting here. WM just finished again so going to empty and put out to dry and then set to come on tonight.

Off to bed after that - tomorrow I will start the day with wrapping and then you will see me rush to the shops to even things up. Hoping my parcels (play/amazon/amazon seller) arrive tomorrow - all have been dispatched.

large G&T for me please, actually make that mulled wine, it's cold in here!

ended up going to friend's down the road for pasta tea which was nice :) and she gave me a massive glass of wine (which made my meeting go with a swing ;) hehe) now back and gonna put pjs and dressing gown on, put WM on and then do a good half hour of packing etc. it is a bit of a mess at the moment as the guy from my youth group got all the stuff out of the loft today and there was more than i remembered...oops! so would like to get that soted, not least because otherwise i will trip up in the night if i go to the loo!!

right, half hour challenge, anyone is welcome to join me. then i think i'll put the blanket on, have a bath and get to bed as need to catch train to london about 9am i reckon (new work Xmas dinner and then meeting OH for a coffee i think :)) will post results before bed....

It's yummy, when I have one, has been a while, I put at least double Archers in. I found it by accident, poured it into my glass instead of my friends when out one night. Ended up with 8 of us drinking it as it was so nice.

Oh another fave, Tia Maria and Baileys, same glass. Yummy. I am a bit of a devil for mixing drinks, managed to get people very drunk with some of my specials, especially when I worked in the nightclub :D My mates 21st he ended up asleep next to the bar :rotfl:

Oh and my moan, DS2 wet the bed last night, straight through his pull up, so he's now in my bed because he didn't tell us and the mattress ended up wet.

Tia maris, baileys and cointrou is heaven...saying that it's about 18 years since I drank it. I threw up all over my boyfriend's parent's white carpet on New Years Eve. Haven't had it since and he's now an ex!

I've some rum butter to go with the mince pies.
