Ok I admit it I've ground to a halt - have been in the middle of hoovering the sofas/behind the sofas, putting back the washed covers and throws etc and DD is having one of her devil days. She made a clay turtle which she brought home from school so decided to make turtle beach in the bathroom. The bath is full, there are soaking wet towels all over the bathroom floor (and I mean all over and sodden wet) covered in broken shells. She has now gone into hiding because I shouted at her - have searched every room in the house and cant find her so not sure if she's run off while I was in the attic and OH (altho at work) is not answering my calls to let him know she's missing. How on earth do you cope with 8 pigpen - you need a medal. I'm going for another cuppa and a ton more throat sweets plus flu tabs to go with me valium sandwich
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Been asleep for two hours :o I felt pretty rotten all of a sudden so off I went with my fleecy and HW bottle, feel much better now. Just put another load in the TD and one in the WM and DD1 did 1 for me whilst I was zonked out, so I'm getting there with that. Can't be bothered to do much else at the moment I just want to chill, hopefully I'll get my second wind later on and get the rest of my list finished.

Excuse the crumbs, eating lunch while typing.

    Level 3 cloakroom and bathroom.
Casserole for tonight in cooker with timer on.
    Parcel sent.
    Turkey bought.

Now have to leave to pick up all three who are in town buying one of my Christmas presents, then off to see my Mum, as it's her birthday today. Feel a little bit nervous, as it will be the first time the children have seen her, and I don't want them to be upset.

Sorry I missed the drinks last night, but mine's a very large red wine, and I'll have it tonight!!

Please don't send me any black feathers to go with the white ones I already have...

Kaz.. Go get some sweets or biscuits or ice cream .. I bet she appears!! I think mine are better for there being so many.. would I notice if one of them did a runner? lol.. Ok.. I am just mean! I just tell everyone if they are bad so everyone knows and can tut accordingly (I also share good news for additional praise when they are good!) peer pressure works too... santa will give gifts to someone in their class they hate! and also the others lose out if one is bad so they do tend to be better... Plus.. I am so laid back I am almost dead. when she appears make sure she cleans up her own mess!!! Stand over her yelling if need be!

big black coffee made by someone else would do me. While i was upstairs my ds was mixing cocoa with water 'to see what would happen' - he has painted himself and the kitchen beautifully.

Our lovely kitten 'George, don't do that' has not re-appeared. She appears to be rummaging through carrier bags now. Too much to hope that she will put some of the contents away?

I don't drink very much at all now, but as a student used to swear by a delightful combination of blue bols, pernod and lemonade. Nicer than you would expect.

    Right, onwards.
