    Afternoon everyone!

Just caught up on 3 pages of the thread - I miss being able to join in and say how much flying I've done. Been on supply all day today, and got home to a lovely suprise! Not only did I have a couple more Christmas cards from you lovely ladies - Thank you to all who have sent me one - but I also had a massive tax rebate from the last two tax years (2005/6 & 2006/7) for nearly £580!!! All the stress of having to ring different tax offices and send in copious employment histories has finally paid off (literally)! I'm wondering what my third bit of good luck will be as I've got a job, and a tax rebate within the space of a week!

Have just smuggled all of the Christmas presents into the boot of my car to take round to my Mum and Dad's tonight and put under their tree, and it feels like it's going to be a frosty night again - the frost still hasn't defrosted from last night.

I had a lovely day today on supply - in the morning we all walked to the local church, where the children sang carols and lit christingles that they had made, and then this afternoon, we all sat and watched Shrek 3! It was really good - you have to see it if you haven't already. Think it may be on over Christmas.
Tomorrow I'm off to the same school to teach year 2 (was in year 6 today) and they are going to be watching a video of their nativity performance, and some of the year 6's are coming down to read some of their Christmas stories that they have written to them. I'm only there for the morning, so hopefully I'll be able to wind down for Christmas in the afternoon or try to get the flat in order anyway. Sussex have a full day tomorrow, unlike Hampshire who finished half-way-through Wednesday.

Right, I'm off to put my feet up and have a cuppa and mincemeat puff (yummy yummy).

    Have a good evening everyone.

    sexymouse xx

    I'm tea-total! :D

And i can see desk under all the [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] very important stuff on my desk.

Took DS1 to GP, he has an antibiotic for his sore throat. GP said they would usually say 'let it run its course' but because it's christmas we will give an antibiotic and save you trips to doc on call no doubt on christmas eve. I like my GP :D

DS2 had his party at nursery, loved it!

Did 20mins ironing (then the kids started to fight).

Both demanded weetabix for dinner. DS1's sore throat and DS2 stuffing his face at party mean they are not that hungry. Will make them toast for supper.

I'm having soup, then I plan on doing the bathroom.

Updated mini list for today: All done!!!!

Though I do feel like I've done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. My top right lip is still frozen solid from the dentist (had to have a filling). Need to go back for one final filling in a week or so. The dentist assures me I won't need an injection as the nerves in that tooth have been previously removed but I'm sceptical!.

My back is v. sore from the pummelling the Physio gave it but I know it's needed. I have to go back in a couple of weeks - my shoulder and neck had locked solid which was what was causing the problems. Even explained the pain behind one of my eyes - apparently if the neck siezes, the pain can go all over the head.

In the next post, I'll rationalise my long list and see what's left to do.

That I have not finished buying the presents.
That the kids don't have as many/exciting presents as previous years.
That the kids won't enjoy Christmas
I have no idea what to cook at anytime other then Christmas lunch
I have not done a food shop
    I have presents to wrap
    I have cards to write.

When I get stressed it sets my IBS off and then I start to worry that I have cancer and that this is my last Christmas.....does that give you a starting point?

the ones you have forgotten are not deserving or you would have got them first so sod them.
That the kids don't have as many/exciting presents as previous years.
Think they remember all those presents anyway? how many ended up in the bin unused?
That the kids won't enjoy Christmas
They will so, they are kids, it's what they do!
I have no idea what to cook at anytime other then Christmas lunch
Toast and fruit for beakfast and soup for later on?
I have not done a food shop
Me either, and can't get a delivery online may go at 2am Friday night!
    I have presents to wrap
Me too, all the kids. Sod it. will demand hubby help on xmas eve. Not got them much anyway!
    I have cards to write.
Save the environment and don't bother. I wrote 6 and that's it.

Have a peppermint tea, you don't have cancer, and at least you don't discuss your irritable bowl loudly on a full bus like old ladies do, while chewing gum and hissing when they say 's'. Like this 'Oh Nesssssssssy, thisssss IBSssssss of minesssssss driving me to disstraction. And my falssssssssse teeth *click-clack* the dentissssssst ssssssaid to me......'

I can't stop flying! I have too much to do! And what would I do instead? I'd have to be a nosey neighbor again eeeekkkksssss!!!!!!
