Venerus v Avis - Is This a Scam?

Thanks @blackshadowuk. I logged on to this forum in the early days when questions were being asked about it being a scam or not. So when I sent the paperwork back I also asked for a cheque (or check!!) so probably why I have not had an e-mail yet.
I reckon that by the time I receive a cheque and persuade Lloyds to put into my account - they will send me a bill to cover the transaction!!!0 -
Having received an email from Venerus the other day, I have accessed their Payment Selection Form using the Claim ID and Confirmation Code they provided to me. This takes me to the electronic form to request my preferred method of payment. I want to be paid via PayPal but I keep receiving an error message that states "There are errors on the Payment Selection Form" when I try to 'submit' the form. All the details I have entered are correct and the form does not indicate where the error has been made. Any ideas?

It happened to me once. Got one of the codes wrong. But I imagine you have tried that.
is your PayPal address the same as the address they have contacted you on? Other than that you may have to contact them or just go for a different payment method.2 -
First direct wanted £5 to put into my account ( I couldnt see what their conversion rate would be), so i opted for pre paid mastercard - as the foreign transaction fee is 3%, but i guess if I buy something from Ali Express then can pay in USD.1

I didn't realise Paypal was an option until I logged on to fill out this form today so I chose that as that would seem safest but like other people here, I got an error message when I tried to submit, presumably because I stated bank transfer when they first contacted me. When I changed the payment method to bank transfer, it advised me that I would be contacted on 2nd August by WISE who's their payment partner. I've had a quick look at WISE who seem legit. I haven't had to input my bank details thus far so I can decide on 2nd August whether I feel confident in doing so!0

i drove in Florida 2010 and received the same letter ive carried it through - i really doubt this is a scam any more - they knew all the details of the hire and only want 3 payment possible methods which i chose a PayPal e-mail for them to send the money owed - this should be in the next few weeks - I did used a PayPal that's a my back up with our cash - hope this helps0

I have 4 claims registered.
Just now I have got two emails from 'PureCard' www.purecard.com each for £295.23 for a payment using Mastercard. each with a different serial number.
Never heard of PureCard but they seem to be legit from the website.0
