Took me a while to find the right chocolate item but I think you meant this one?
The ingredients are JUST white chocolate, plain chocolate and crunchy peanut butter! Even a non-cook like myself should be able to manage it!
(Mind you I'm sure I could make a pigsear of the decoration without much effort!)

Make my easter eggs tonight. Im heading off to Northern Ireland to see my mum at the weekend so had to make them now. I really should try tempering as they melt so easy. Ah well they will have to do.

Stuff I learnt from this experiment:
The microwave method seems to work well enough for me.
Pyrex is a good thing to melt chocolate in.
Glass is definitely not.
Stars are tricky to pour the chocolate into.
Stars are even trickier to remove the chocolates from once set, I broke a couple this way.

Yeah that's why I wondered if it was an idea to make half the star as ice cube, then pour cool choc on the top and let it set in the fridge, just to sort of raise the choc up and make it easier to get out
You could but try but I don't think it would work because according to 'the standard instructions' on melting chocolate you must'nt get any water in the chocolate (for example when doing the bain marie (pan over saucepan) technique. Not quite sure the reason, but I'm sure someone will enlighten us (Jem8472?).... By using ice in the mould you would be mixing choccie with water. This could cause the same problem (whatever it is!...)I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
