Jem I am looking forward to seeing yours, I've been hanging on before buying a thermom. To be quite honest Andy's birthday and Valentines has cost a fortune what with buying all the things but they'll all be there for next year so much cheaper then. Depending on you to see if I shall get a thermom for Easter chocs;)

You are right its burnt:mad: ,I didn't smell it at first but it stinks!:o

I have tried again,slower this time and so far it looks great!

Thank heavens I had extra chocolate!

Its in the fridge setting now.

I did a heart shape in a silicon mould and scattered choc chips over and did a heart shape with mini marshmallows.:j


How long does it take to set?

(I want to hide it from OH and he'll be in at 4.30)

Well If they turn out well tomorrow I will post pics. If it all ends in disaster then I probable wont post any :-)

Hmmm depends on how thick it is if it'll set by then... I'd have thought you should be ok tho!
I just did a load of little hearts in white chocolate with dessicated coconut... Hopefully I can manage to leave some for OH :rotfl:

Glad to hear about all the stories today...:T..am going to have to do mine tomorrow...long story...involving me being covered in paint...and me going into the back of someone's car..:rolleyes:.just a nudge...no damage....but I am way behind schedule today....so will do them, tomorrow lunchtime. OH leaves really early in the morning so would be giving them to him after work anyway.

Look forward to more pics.:j Got the chocolate today, bar of Belgian white, milk and dark/mint chocolate. Bought chocolate sprinkles, mini marshmallows, peanut butter and crushed almonds. I bought an icing kit as well, if I feel brave enough, though am not creative at all.....so not sure about that one...:think:

I have made today 5 huge heart cookies (not iced yet) 40 small heart cookies (not iced yet either) 10 choc lollies, 5 big choc hearts and 30 small ones.
The house looks like a bomb hit and the kitchen looks like a war zone. I don't want any tea I can't face it. I still have to ice them all and try to make some heart choc picks for a gateau. :eek:
