Picked mine up today as I wasn't in when they were delivered. Going to do a trial run this week, then do some and put them in cellophane and ribbon for OH for Valentines Day and do some extra for niece and nephew. :D

I used them to decorate my son's birthday cake which I made myself (I'm so proud of myself!) I made them choc orange flavour by adding some "Super cook orange extract" (about a teaspoon in 250g of dairy milk)

the plastic egg moulds we used to rub with a piece of cotton wool for a few minutes, don't what the point was behind it but it used to make the choc eggs have a nice
shine and stopped them for sticking.

I would like to say that I reckon that tip works - my chocolate goodies had a lovely shine :T

only problem is, it happens whenever i melt chocolate and re-cool, afterwards when you touch them they melt really quickly you it gets a bit messy, any way to stop that?

in the latest Somerfield magazine, one of the valentine Day recipes is heart-shaped chocolate truffles. They've made them really attractive by wrapping a c*cktail stick in silver foil and attaching two little leaves at the end to resemble arrows then pushed them through the truffles.
