Excellent idea, we're making bags of peppermint creams, home made after eights and not these too!

Can anyone think what to use if you don't have a silicone tray. Not sure cling-film would work as the chocolate would just run flat......
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
  • In the past, we have used a baking tray lined with baking paper.

This year bought a few silicone mounds from poundshop.

Started on these yesterday with butterscotch bits on top. Need to do a fruit and nut shop for more today. Also did chocolate drops which are super easy and obviously take a lot less chocolate. The pistachio and the bright pink edible glitter ones looked the best I think. Working my way through the £1 Thorntons easter egg chocolate.
  • How long will these last? Only I would like to make my brother a few different ones for christmas, and I have to post them to him along with his pressies. Just wondered if I could start them soon?

It melts very quickly in your hand. But doesn't matter if it goes straight to your mouth!

I am planning on making chocolate slabs for my friends and whilst out today, one of them commented they love Sicilian Lemon chocolates.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can incorporate this into a chocolate slab? Or even what I would use?
