wow the choc pizza looks fab. i have a hubby who would love one of those. i've just bought a silicone tin from ebay , but wondering once i've made it. how would be best to present it as a pressie ?0

just thought. i could use a pizza box couldn't i. i've looked on ebay but can't find any single 9inch pizza boxes. only packs of 5 min. does anyone know where i could buy one ? or could i go to pizza takeaway and ask to buy a box from them ?
is that too cheeky ? i expect they buy in bulk so might sell one for a couple of pound.

Thought I'd ressurect this wonderful old thread as Valentines Day (& Easter) are on their way (& because its one of my favourite subjects!
)... Yum, Choccie.... Also thought some new people may wish to get some ideas from this thread.
But while I'm on, I noticed on the 'Kirsty's Homemade Christmas' programme that was on before xmas she made some homemade choccie treats and she had a tip about tempering. If I remember correctly, she laid out the melted choccie onto a Marble Slab and sort of swished it all over with a palette knife to cool it down. That's supposed to work, according to the expert she had insructing her. If you haven't got marble, a BIG baking tray would do.
I've got a slab of a marble worktop, think I might try that!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -

Just wanted to say thanks to the OP for this thread - I made my first lot last night. Just bought asdas own chocolate. Ended up making a white bar with granola and dried cranberries, milk bar with pisatchios and a dark bar with mixed chocolate covered nuts. Impressed, so I think family will be getting these for christmas!
