Morning all
Sending you lots of positive car vibes Piggers xx
Animals fed. DS up, I’m back in bed with a cuppa. I’ve felt a bit woozy and out of focus these past couple of days, put it down to the weather but the air is much clearer now and I still feel this way. Got all my jobs done yesterday so I think a lazy day is in order. DD going swimming with her friend later on.Good vibes to all, have lovely days xx9 -

Thank you for all of your good wishes. Belovéd is taking good care of me, and this morning I phoned the Red Cross to see about hiring a wheelchair because I don't think I'm safe enough to go down the sloping path on the crutches yet to get to the hospital appointment on Monday. Apparently they've got one in my size second hand for the price of three and a half weeks hire, and I figure I'm going to need it for longer than that anyway. They're kept at an address just round the corner so Belovéd is now on his way to go and collect it while walking the dog. I cried because I was so worried out not being able to get hold of one, and it's all fallen into place with one phone call.I didn't realise they were so close. I might offer to volunteer with them when I'm over this if they need any help, as well as the Foodbank.Flying wise, I've tidied up my bedside table.Better is good enough.10

Hope your dressing appt goes well Valli 😃
Please look after yourself HB, plenty of fast healing vibes winging your way to you. That's a lovely idea to volunteer at the wheelchair place when you have recovered 😃
Hope your car gets/got through the MOT Piggers, fingers and toes crossed.
Not a lot going on here as I was knocked for 6 by DH telling me that the surgery had been in touch re his blood tests etc, to be told that a cancer specialist is ringing him tomorrow. He's been happily having maintenance chemo injections for a while now with no troubles, now a cancer specialist wants to talk to him. I'm not strong enough, mentally, to handle anything else thrown at us or more precisely DH. The sooner we can move the better then I'll have my sister to run to...😏 I think it's time to throw myself into something - wonder what I can buy for the house 😚

Dressing appt went quickly - found a car parking space - walked down to dept, was seen. Back within the hour. STILL cannot shower though but I've stopped hoping now...
HHI done before I went too, so no ironing mountain.
Black bin emptied *fling* less than 1/3 full despite me doing a bin bag dance last night.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Opticians done.. £10 lighter but Twinkle is happy.
Tomorrow is the boiler service so I need to clear some space.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
(((Hugs))) Natty. I am taking care of myself, but Belovéd is doing an even better job of it than I am with all the fetching and carrying so I can administer my world from my bed. Movement disturbs the ankle and I can feel things bumping about in there in a way they're not designed by nature to move when things are all as they should be, so I don't have much choice really. I'm so sorry you've been thrown a curve ball by Dave's doctors but if there's something they can do for him it's far better to know about it so they can get cracking with it. More (((hugs)))Sorry about still not being able to shower Valli. So frustrating not being able to do the normal stuff we totally take for granted. More *healing vibes* heading your way.Congratulations on the MOT Piggers.Full rubbish bag that hangs over the bedpost swapped for a new one.Better is good enough.8

Oh Natty I really hope its nothing serious. And HB sorry to hear about your tumble, fingers crossed that you are back up and walking soon x
Lots to do at the paid stuff. I decided that I would focus all of today on completely finishing one piece of work, and it feels so good to have done that.
DS1 has had a letter sent here because the hospital have apparently been ringing to try and organise this specialist endoscopy and cant get hold of him. If he doesnt respond in 7 days they say they will discharge him back to the GP but he has got other tests booked so not sure what happens. Any suggestions on how to get a 23 year old to have scans when he is scared of what they might show? I was hoping he might visit tonight so I could talk to him in person.
Tea in slow cooker, have just sorted out the fridge and wiped down the kitchen units. I might hang on a bit and see if DH gets home soon before I eat. Feel a bit out of sorts.
Glad the car was OK Pigpen. We have got similar issues with DHs very old van, MOT on Monday! x10 -
Natty.. hoping it is nothing serious and all good newsYL .. definitely better DS faces stuff sooner rather than later.. I get he is very anxious but hiding from the tests won't help him.. If he doesn't get them done he will continue being worried about what might be when he is probably going to get good news and it will relieve some of that anxiety for a time.. Give him an extra hug from us and a bucket of brave.. we believe in him! Good MOT vibes for DH van. Moomin chickened out of her surgery too so I am hoping we can get her in when they reschedule it, I know it is hard but I think she will regret not doing it when she has wanted it for so long. We need to have a check up on her hormone levels as well.. and Meems.. both are high chance for PCOS and i think it is important they find out sooner rather than later.New car battery purchased.. got it on the pay in 3 on Paypal to spread it out a bit.
Emailed dr's to nag for blood test results.. I know they have 1 lot back but not sure about the second, I've not heard anything from them. I need to ring their referral team to make sure they did actually make the referral to paeds for Dot.. and I MUST post Squeaks tic forms tomorrow.. and 2 V!nted parcels to post too.. I have a boiler service in the afternoon and my new washing machine is being delivered at some point. So not much going on..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9
