Good afternoon 😊
I got some admin done last night, mainly pet related. DH promised me a kitten for my birthday, so we got a little black & white girl 3 weeks ago. She had her 2nd jabs last night. Unfortunately I think it was the first time the trainee vet had done them on his own 😕 I needed her chipped too - 2 attempts 😭 Also he forgot one of the vaccines, so she needed jabbing twice too 😢 She has been played with extra today as I have had 5 children here, including a cat obsessed 2 yr old! Just 2 left now - siblings 7 & 9, who are fighting - again! Roll on 5:30!!
Pet insurance sorted, microchips registered. It is funny how you get more done when the telly is broken! 😂
I have taken delivery of a new cat tree today, so DS can build that when he gets home 😊 New TV arriving tomorrow, which will need putting on the wall!
1 load of washing done & hung out - I needn't have bothered as it rained while we were at the park 🤦♀️ (trying to tire the children out!) It is in the TD now...
Food bin emptied, DH has done the rest of the bins.
I hope everyone has had a good day.

Complaint put in this morning about a member of staff on holiday who was rather rude about Dot asking 'Whats wrong with you?' in a snide manner.. he did almost die of embarrassment when I told him but it did rather hang a cloud over the future activities we had booked.. thankfully the others were not with him but we didn't know that until we got there.. anyway £510 goodwill gesture offered..That is over 25% off.. just shows how much they make off each holiday!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10

Oh wow Pigpen thats a lot of money, obviously he shouldnt have said it and lets hope he gets some training on why he shouldnt have said it, if he is still working there.
I am stupidly, pathetically tired. Lots of staffing stuff done at work, and one difficult conversation had. Pleased with how I handled it all but I am shattered now.
Cycled into the office and just made it back before it poured down. Dry now, bit of washing out on the line. DH and I are both fed. It will be an early night I think.11 -
Good evening lovelies
Everything ticked off the list as planned, including a nap which went some way to shift my headache. It’s much cooler here tonight thank goodness.Tomorrow I need to hang the blinds in the childrens rooms, chicken wire off some more fencing and generally maintain order and calm… a girl can wish!Sleep well all xx10 -
Morning all
I hope everyone is okay today. I have fed the animals, hung a load of washing out, sent a couple of admin messages and tended to DS, who is still suffering the after effects of his groin strain. Calpol and cuddles.
Have fab days all x10 -
Morning all
I have
- S&S'd the kitchen
- brushed Rosie
- hoovered round
- finished packing
DH is a grumpy bear today, having gone to bed at 10.30 and not got off to sleep until 3.15, he says. However, we're off to a flying start!
I will catch up with the thread sometime, but I'm not planning on hoovering or dusting for the next 3 days
Happy days xx

Morning all.
I have done dailies and walked Poppet, but she didn't want to go far today. I think she has exhausted all the places she can search for Littleydog. It's heartbreaking.
Anyhow, I'm in a sports competition today so probably not much flying will get done.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9
