Good scheme. Been in my local store since inception.
I also have the Asda money CC which transfers the loyalty points direct to Asda rewards account.
  • Can I use this on-line?  I have a phone with apps but use the online service only, not going into the store.  Thanks.

It says you can after signing up using the mobile app.

However, being in the same position as you, I installed the app & signed in via that, using my normal online login.
I can see the "star" items on my phone but not online, however I only installed the app this morning, so maybe it needs 24 hours to work with the online account?

I have tried searching "starred" items online but nothing showing

Please let me know if it works for you

Used for the first time today.
Star products are marked in store on the shelf edge label.
Used scan and go.  Scanned gun at checkout then scanned app barcode straight after, terminal beeped.
Shows up as "coupon" with no value on the bottom of the on screen total.
On printed till receipt "Asda Rewards" at bottom of items at -£0.01 so deducts 1p from your bill.
Checked app on way out of store and Cashpot had updated, total Milestone Mission had updated by trolley total - had not deducted the multibuy discount or the 1p !
Other missions had ticked some boxes.

Seems like a lot of faffing around for little effect.

All you need to do is scan the app barcode at the checkout, everything else is automated.

It’s more the thought of having to do missions. I don’t do big shops, my spend is normally under a fiver and it’s generally basics like veg, bread and milk not branded stuff. That’s why I’m thinking it would probably take me a long time to build up any sort of reward.

The missions are total spend in a period so each shop adds up, buying a certain number of items / £ spend on certain items in a period - 2 current ones are 10 fruit & veg items and 5 frozen items, again adds up over a few shops, my small shop today got 3 ticks for the fruit & veg. And of course the cashback, generally seems to be 10%, on certain items and Asda brand is well represented.
