Ordered 8 days ago and SIM card still not received. Don't know if it's because of the Royal Mail strike, or Lebara being slow/overwhelmed by the recent number of orders.
I have been unable to contact them so far.0 -
Your Lebara SIM order is now being processed. Hello, Thank you for ordering a Lebara SIM card. You will receive an email shortly confirming that your SIM has been dispatched. Your Payment Reference is: *******Hi *******, Great news. Your Lebara SIM is on the way! It should be with you within the next 2 days via Royal Mail. Once your new SIM arrives, to activate it, just put it in an unlocked handset and switch on. You’re all set!Have you received such e-mails? For me the last one was on the next day after I ordered it.

Just wanted to give my thoughts on this deal for anyone wanting to take up any future deals. I ordered 2 Sims in August and activated just under a month later. Both Sims had the deal still showing once the accounts were set up. No problems so far with calls, texts and data. Had one chat to sort out a query with a quick response and resolution. Still to try porting but fingers crossed happy so far.

I ordered a lyca sim on the 1p offer which duly arrived and the 1p was taken out of my account, everything going OK so far, but I went on the lyca site today as I wanted to check that the auto renewal was set up, and I noticed that the plan shows the new mse plan amount not the 1p plan, hopefully when they come to take the next instalment, they don't take the higher amount.0

Ordered 4 on 19th August and set one up straight away for the wee one as we eventually relented on a mobile phone for her. Testing in our house is a bit of hit and miss really as we live in a bit of a blackspot for mobile networks, Speed not great at 3/4 but went up to 10 upstairs. She's on wifi in house anyway so that's kinda a moot point. For comparison, just done one with EE and was actually surprised i got 30 odd. Again on wifi obviously and it's only a back up indoors but handy to know if internet goes south.
Plan going forward is to test on wee one's phone when we're out and about and especially where me and the wife work if we remember. Our contract with EE is up end of November so if it performs ok then i'll activate another couple and we'll probably port over. That's assuming they allow 90 days to activate after ordering. Last time i checked hotukdeals they seemed to think it was ok. If not, didn't cost anything really and i might just use as leverage with EE and see if we get anything out of them.

We took this deal and switched both mobiles to it. Was roaming in EU with no issues and all working well, a really great deal!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.2

Just updating my previous experience with Lebara. Old number now ported in with no drama. Did notice though that voicemail needed setting up, not automatic.

Just some advice to people...please make sure you bank card hasn't expired during the time which your plan/auto top up is active, otherwise it will cancel your plan automatically, when the auto top up 'fails' as a result of the card being expired. You have to update the payment details on my lebara i think at least one day BEFORE the auto top up was due, you cannot do it by calling lebara as they cannot take the info for security.
My plan started on the 5th of each month and on the 3rd i received an sms saying my auto renewal had failed. So i contacted Lebara today and basically got told my plan had expired as a result even though the 5th is my renewal date. And that i would need to buy the plan again on my lebara at £4.90 (as i opted for 3GB data, not 12GB at £6.90).
I thought that if i logged onto mylebara i could update my payment details today but it already says the plan is expired.
Tried calling Lebara customer service and got told i needed to buy a top up voucher for £10 as i am now on PAYG rates and when i asked why the plan is expired one day early or if they can help me put me on the same plan, the advisor seemingly hung up the call (which was the second call as same happened first time around and i just thought the call dropped the first time).
Anyone else had this issue and got a solution? I'd be grateful of any advice (other than make sure your bank card is active, as i know that haha)
TIA2
