There is clearly something wrong with this deal. Until I work out what it is I've blown a whole p on a sim.1

Lebara have been having a price war with Lyca and this is the latest deal. I wonder if Lyca will offer a free plan in retaliation ? 1 ? 1

Moneysaving extremists will look for another deal before the 6 months are up and switch away. The vast majority of people will forget about the offer or won't be bothered to switch. Lebara will have drawn in lots of new customers from the big players, so it is still a win for them.0

I got the £1.99 deal last week. That means I've been ripped off by a whopping 1990%, if my maths is right!
Had a cheeky moan on the live chat and got £1.98 credited to my account this month as a goodwill gesture!

They are looking at automatic refunds.WeekendWalk said:I got the £1.99 deal last week. That means I've been ripped off by a whopping 1990%, if my maths is right!

Worst case was 1month at 1.99 followed by 6 months at 1p.

I took out the Lyca deal before I saw this as I needed a network that wasn't Vodafone but this looks a good option too. It's a 30 day contract so as far as I can see you could cancel after 1 month (or pay the 6p to stay for 6) but have no commitment beyond. Have I missed anything?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

You can leave anytime with this deal its like pay&go and the 1p Lycamobile deal is the same you don't have to give any notice just turn off automatic payment or port your number to another network.jimjames said:I took out the Lyca deal before I saw this as I needed a network that wasn't Vodafone but this looks a good option too.
