At least it is only 2 x 1p wasted.  Awful download speed, 2 Mbps maximum, no VoLTE or wifi calling - it actually removes the setting from the phone which was there previously and is there again with the old sim back in.
    So
    No to Vodafone
    No to 3
Looks like I need to stick to an EE provided service

Just tested mine, 78Mbps, 5G indoors; wi-fi calling working fine. Location and the right phone is all you need.
Same here. I've been with Voda (VoxI) previously and it's no different.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Did a proper test over weekend, both Lebara and Voda/Voxi were 36Mbps so no difference in speed at all.

can you port in after activation?
i.e. get a sim, and if it's fine port my number across, rather than porting in initially and having to port out

You can port in any time. I kept the original SIM number for about two months before porting my main number across. Gives you a chance to assess if the new network suits your needs.

  • consider swapping my daughter onto one of these as a test.

did i read somewhere that either Lebara or Lycamobile didnt support short messages for 2 factor authorization..

    thanks anyone that can advise
  • Hi

I've ordered a SIM on this deal but not received it yet. I'm thinking of getting another. Does anyone know how I go about this. Do I need to do it within my account once it's set up or can I just order it in the same way as the first.

    Cheers

I am a newbie with this.  I am currently on PAYG with Asda but there rates go up soon to 15p/min. If I ordered this offer from Lebara online do they send you a sim?  And how do you pay only 1p each month?  By paypal or by direct debit from the bank for 1p each month?

Order the second SIM just like the first. When you create a Lebara account ("My Lebara") you can add/attach up to four SIMs to it. Account isn't (AFAIK) required but it allows you to monitor usage etc.
