Don't acknowledge service just yet. Await @KeithP's advice first to ensure you get the maximum time allowance to develop your Defence.
Ok. I will do. Thank you very much.

You will be simply adapting the recent defence by @Johny86 - which will take you half an hour max.  Go there now.  That username is your link
Hello @Coupon-mad, thank you very much for the link, unfortunately, it takes me to his profile. I will try and look for them with their name through search. Thanks for the advice.

Yes...it takes you to his profile. Guess what a posting profile also contains?

I gave you that link for a reason. No need to search!  Look more slowly and carefully if not used to forums.

With a Claim Issue Date of 20th March, you have until Tuesday 11th April to file an Acknowledgment of Service.  Do not file an Acknowledgment of Service before 25th March, but otherwise there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 24th April 2023 to file your Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Thanks @KeithP, I will file after the 25th. I was going to do it via email as per the advice on Post #2. I was actually waiting for your response before doing anything. Thank you so much. I will post my defence once I have written it before sending it off. I really appreciate everyone's input.

Use the guidance I pointed you towards. That way, nothing can get lost.
In fact, now that we have passed 4pm, the rest of today counts as 25th March so there is no longer any reason to delay filing an Acknowledgment of Service.
But let's take that further - after 4pm on Friday is considered Monday - just like in the the banking world.

No, I didn't. I filed the AoS via MCOL. I am sending the email to the Parking company now. I have wroitten my defence but when do I send the defence? Would it be after I receive their response to my SAR? Or do I just send that at the same time? Thanks
