If you are not using the app, you need to use their Hard Token to log in. You haven't mention that token, but I trust you got one? What is a Hard Token device, Is it the little calculator thing ?.Ive not got one for the app, I just get a Text code.0 -
I've been a user and a fan of AR accounts for, if not a decade, then close.Rollinghome said:
I'd guess they outsource anything vaguely technical. CS staff are always a pleasure to talk to and fine for telling you your balance. Anything more tends to flummox them. Not their fault, but that of whoever is responsible for their training and current understaffing.soulsaver said:Yep and their CS is useless: Secure messaged them asking to explain how a service i get is set up: 7 days later politely prompted them; day later they responded with an incorrect answer. Queried it by return.
We're now at 10 days with no workable response.
It's not a disaster as everything still works, but just saying...
For me, politeness is no substitute to a timely and accurate response.
And if they're keeping that call holding music to deter callers, they should improve response times to secure messages..

Thank you - I used the Hard Token as suggested and managed to register for online banking using the authenticator app, although I stumbled through the process by luck and didn't understand what I was doing!!!Daliah said:I am on Windows 10 and can use the desktop app fine. I've got a Digipass "token" that's worked flawessly for years on Win10, though can see how it could be a bit confusing. I've also got the app that also works fine on Android 11. It's a savings account that I don't need to access away from my desk, so an app is a bit superfluous.Daliah said:I am on Windows 10 and can use the desktop app fine. My wife phoned earlier and was told that her account has been opened, but no account number generated, just the reference LIB number. They're going to get the man who understands such things to take a look and call her back.

It is. A Digipass in my case.

Al Rayan call it a hardware / software token.
I did not use any hardware device to register for online banking, just my mobile phone (for the authenticator app).0 -
How long do Al Rayan deposits usually take to appear? I moved some money from my nominated account (Barclays) to them this morning, had a fraud check telephone call from Barclays, they released the money at about 11:30am but still not showing in my Al Rayan account. Should I be worried?0

@t1redmonkey normally within an hour, but I have waited two hours before.
You can set up notifications as previously discussed on this topic and Al Rayan will email you when the funds are credited.1 -
