Old electric cars?

EV ownership is growing exponentially and is only being constrained by supply issues - just about every EV in production is being sold a year in advance. The motorway charging network is based on the old Ecotricity provision which was rolled out a decade ago. Since Gridserve bought them out they've been replaced with new units but they haven't had the opportunity to increase numbers in many locations.
Luckily most people don't need to charge on the motorway...
It really needs to be a public utility rather than left to the market. Millions in public funding is being thrown into private hands. The contractors, equipment manufacturers and consultants are laughing all the way to the bank. Unfortunately there's no political motivation to make it better - EV chargers probably fall under that 'woke nonsense'...0
