I have opened the Smart Saver and see that they ask for Annual income , is this essential or create an issue when withdrawing money? I am Retired and do not have a regular income so can not fill Income under Your finances section.

I told them I’m unemployed, and the money is coming from savings. No problems because it's a savings account.

As Zopa have increased their rates, here is the latest for this topic:
- Access pot - 1.81%
- 7 days notice - 1.85%
- 31 days notice - 1.95%
- 95 days notice - 2.05%
Also Max is increased from £50,000 to £85,0001 -
I just transferred some money from my linked current account (saved payee from 1st transfer), and received an email from Zopa confirming receipt of the transfer, but when I login to the app, I just see my original balance of £1 and when I click on the instant or any of the notice pots, it just keeps "thinking" and nothing appears. Anyone else experience this or is it just too early in the morning?0

Plenty of Zopa discussion, new and old, in the Easy Access thread.

I find dragging down from the top of the screen to refresh the totals works with Chase. Not tried it yet with Zopa.
Could be a cache thing, you see.0 -
Zopa app is excellent. But the transfer of cash from Zopa to another bank is very slow. They need to speed up their systems.0

Hi...This may sound a strange question but....
Do you need to have a mobile number in order for Zopa app / connectivity to function correctly?
Was thinking of the options for opening an account for me dear 'ole ma, and I have a spare mobile but no sim and would simply use it over wifi. I could set it up via my mobile, but am trying to keep things separate (as I deal with her finances / PoA).Personal Responsibility - Sad but True
