Just to join in with the short term nature of some of the posts made in this thread, my investments are all doing pretty well over this last week so I guess the crash is over.

Overall I'm pretty happy with overall recent performance.

    Any update on this, please?
Yup, everything is fine. Investments still up over the week - and over 10 years which is my usual timeframe.

I feel it is only fair that you now share an update on your own portfolio.

Your silence on this can only mean one thing.

I'm having a good September.  If it carries on like this it will be the best month I've had since February and March.

Genuinely not looking to mock you if you’re down, I’m sure most on here have their own losses of some sort, myself included. You’re an interesting character for sure, how interesting is your portfolio and how is that working out?

I went heavily into cryptos (about 20%-25% of my portfolio) in October 2021 just before it started crashing.  My crypto now sits at about 25% of what it was in October.  If I had the crypto money back that it's down (just the amount I put in, not any profits) I'd right now be around my ATH which was in October 2021.

YTD I'm flat. (Edit:  This does include new money I've earned)

I am currently significantly in cash.

    So...

    1. 20% of your portfolio is in Crypto (and you have lost 75% on Crypto since October 21), meaning you lost 15% of your total portfolio due to that single investment.
    2. You are significantly in cash

How are you 'flat' YTD with that stellar combo?

I think the clue is in the "This does include new money I've earned" - i.e. they're only flat because they've pumped in additional capital to cover the losses. So not what most of us would call flat, but does at least mean that losses were not higher than earnings.
