Most of us on MSE already do that. I've lived frugally all my life, done without, driven down the costs as low as possible. Cheapest everything, food, insurance, car, house, best savings accounts. There are no savings to be had, when you live close to the bone, inflation is high however you dress it upMillyonare said:Know someone on £25k salary who has just cut their "personal inflation" rate by a huge -30%. Shop at Aldi not Waitrose, drive a Citroën not a Merc, walk not drive, etc. It is very possible for many to ruthlessly cut costs and "beat" inflation. Make your money go further.

We don't need to know what Michael Burry is doing. It's not as though his predictions come true like clockwork.
