Know someone on £25k salary who has just cut their "personal inflation" rate by a huge -30%. Shop at Aldi not Waitrose, drive a Citroën not a Merc, walk not drive, etc. It is very possible for many to ruthlessly cut costs and "beat" inflation. Make your money go further.
Most of us on MSE already do that. I've lived frugally all my life, done without, driven down the costs as low as possible. Cheapest everything, food, insurance, car, house, best savings accounts. There are no savings to be had, when you live close to the bone, inflation is high however you dress it up

Michael Burry has liquidated his entire portfolio except for one stock. Perhaps he's since liquidated that too.

We don't need to know what Michael Burry is doing. It's not as though his predictions come true like clockwork. It would be far more interesting to get an update on the Type_45 portfolio.

Keeping it quiet as I don't want to spook the markets.

More like you don’t want to admit to everyone of the recent equity rally that you have missed out on whilst sitting with your big pile of cash

You do realise that Burry's portfolio was all shorts?
