I think we should compile a book of Type 45 quotations.
We could include a section of 45-esque sayings that other people have created in the same vogue, rather like an Internet meme.
A small competition, in which readers have to guess if a given statement of unrelenting, eternal, existential doom is the genuine work of the master himself, or that of an impostor, might be in order.I am one of the Dogs of the Index.7 -

US, UK, Europe and China recessions.
That the summer rally was a bear market rally. (I was advised that not buying the June low was the "biggest financial mistake of my life". We are now well below the June low).

The sudden and dramatic drop at the end of Sept strangely coincides with the announcement of Mr Kwarteng's mini-budget, but I've been assured by senior members of government and the treasury that this is purely coincidental and was actually caused by global factors.....
