*cooling vibes* for everyone.Back from holibobs, exhausted having been so engaged by it all. I'd ruled out these two days in my diary so Belovéd didn't book anything in for me to do straight away. As a result I've caught up on all of the washing, reset the tent outside to dry it out completely, boxed everything up that needs to go back into the attic and caught up on post etc.I had a female dog that needed to be put on to Propalyn (sp?) syrup for urinary incontience, I think Layla's heading the same way. It's linked to stress and she's defo stressed by the heat and me having been away for 10 days but there's no excuse for the male cat who hopped onto the superking duvet and pee'd for England. Fortunately it's a duvet that can go in an industrial washing machine and this is just the weather for drying it out but *really*. *Huff* I can't get an appointment at the vet until Saturday afternoon unless they can squeeze me in if I ring at 8.00am for the day's emergency appointments. It really should be easier to see a vet than a GP but apparently not.I also discovered that you don't really need to fly living in a tent for 10 days. I may move into one permanently.Better is good enough.10

Welcome back HB - glad you had a good time, and hope Layla destresses now you're home.
I am pleased to report that DH is home as of this evening. He was sent for another scan this afternoon in case there really was a DVT lurking somewhere, but the sonographer couldn't find one. His leg and foot are still swollen, however the heat will have made it worse anyway. Rosie was glad to see him, though she's not a fan of crutches.
I achieved minimum flying before 7.00 am, then spent most of the day asleep as the temperature rose. Driving home from the horse piddle, we had about a dozen large raindrops land on the windscreen, but it wasn't enough to lay the dust. I have flung open all the windows hoping that the temperature will go down soon.9 -
Iona. So pleased DH is home. I hope you are both coping and remember to look after yourself!!!

Just had a scam text saying I need to order a PCR test as I have been in contact with a +ve case. Test free just postage to pay. It looks legit….The clue is the website address
trace.got-pcrkit.com/order
Had a look at the ‘order form’ … it looks official. This one is going to catch people out, sadly.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Valli. My mother and OH have both had those too.. OH works from home.. her hasn't been anywhere so we knew instantly it was a scam and my mother couldn't give 2 hoots whether she has it or not. I hope you are feeling a bit beter today... one day closer to your shower!
I was just talking about you to OH saying how horrible it is for you being unable to shower and hot and bothered.

I rang hospital yesterday because plasters had moved and bra was rubbing stitches etc. DD said there was a 'bit' of leakage. They couldn't fit me in but we went for new plasters. They've gone on top of the previous dressings
Then they called this morning
Nurse 'We've had a cancellation and could see you this afternoon'.
Valli 'If I come today - you might not remove my plasters . If I come tomorrow you might. I'll leave it until tomorrow because I want a shower.' Cunning as Baldrick me.

Hello all.
work shift done, plus dailies and I hoovered through.
I was up from 3.30 with Littleydog so I got some admin done. She is really poorly so we're going to the vet later.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
HB that is exactly why I love camping.
Good day at the paid stuff, cycled there and back. Definitely cooler today thankfully. Not much flying done but I did manage to make a doctors appointment and pick up my contact lenses so that's two things off the to do list.10 -
