Night shift is so tiring, it's not helped when you wake up to hear theres interesting news going on in your country.

wage slip came in and I will manage to pay a wee bit extra off of the Bill's this month, Mr El has got a price for the replacement car bits, he was hoping it would be less than £500 but were at £700 so far .. . sigh

I understand his reasons for wanting to keep the old car but it just seems that were always spending money on it.

It really upends the political landscape, doesn't it :(  You never know what might happen though.  There may be a giant waiting in the wings, like she was.  I hope so.  I'm trying to say it without saying it 🙄

No one to match Nicola Sturgeon in Scottish politics today.
The country is poorer for it.
The last great Scottish politician was Donald Dewar.

it's some of the best news I've heard in a long time, Nicola has been a destructive force for Scotland for the longest time, our country is better off without her.

Yes she was a good orator and aye she won elections, but it came at a cost, and one our country should never have had to pay

At least you knew where you were with her - I mean look at the shower in westminster.  You know what they say about snakes & forked tongues.  I certainly never got the feeling that any brown envelopes were coming her way which is more than I can say for them.

there is the small issue of the 660k and the 107k though.

I dont for one second think WM is any better, if I did I would never have campaigned for independence and I certainly wouldnt want it now either.

But I do want independence for my country, which is one of the many reasons she had to go.

I think these emails will tell a story, and her various policies that she just constantly messed up,  A9 anyone ?

It was time for her to go after covid, even her  speech today  was full of me me me me me, 153 mentions of I, me, my and only 11 times did she mention Scotland, that tells you where her thoughts were directed.

I certainly wont miss her, maybe now the SNP can get back to the job they were created for, cause if they dont they wont last much longer.

Or maybe I have got her wrong and she plans on collapsing Holyrood in time for a plebiscite on October 19th and might actually stick to her no ifs no buts for a change, but I highly doubt it.

Last night at work for the week thank goodness, my last shift was rather busy with quite a bit of time spent in my ppe, so was crippled by this morning.

Son has returned the money he borrowed, I had forgotten about it so it was a nice surprise, I told him not to bother but he really does like to pay his debt off, so I have put the money into the savings account which will no doubt be used to fix the other car, but atleast its money I dont need to find.

Have got 2 shifts of overtime coming up and some oncall as well but I've made sure that I am getting enough days off for myself. Mr El and i are having a think about a couple of nights away next month in the caravan or tent. So I'm making sure that it's not all work and no play.
